One of my favorite moments from Fan Expo Boston — meeting Dafne Keen!

I brought along the actual Shopkins sunglasses I won back in 2017, the same glasses Laura wears in Logan, and got to let Dafne hold them. Her reuniting with the pair after almost a decade since Logan. 😎

The coolest part came during my signing: Dafne took a photo of the glasses herself and actually texted it to Hugh Jackman! 🤯 Definitely did not expect Wolverine to become part of the story.

Such an awesome full-circle Logan moment.

Mega-City One. FAN EXPO Boston.

Finally suited up as Judge Dredd at FAN EXPO — and this photo couldn’t have been more perfect. Mega-City One’s finest alongside the man who brought Dredd to life in Dredd (2012).

During her panel, I asked Dafne Keen if she’d try them on, and she did! Then at my signing, I let her take some photos of the glasses, and apparently she even texted a photo to Hugh Jackman. 🤯

As someone who’s spent countless hours cosplaying Leon, getting to recreate one of the most iconic lines in gaming with the OG voice was an unforgettable moment.

At Nostalgia Con Anaheim the Residents maybe weren’t so Evil!

When the voice of James calls you out, you don’t argue… you just take another bite. 🍕 Such a surreal moment meeting Guy Cihi at Nostalgia Con Anaheim!

The current and the past! The highlight? I handed him my jacket and asked him to put it on, and he did! For a moment, it felt like Leon himself was suiting up and stepping back into action.

Back over a decade ago, I first connected with Guy Cihi online. This past weekend at Nostalgia Con I finally got to meet the voice of James Sunderland in person.

To make it even better, we’re holding the same “Have You Seen Me?” Missing sign of Mary I’ve carried to conventions since 2022—a tribute to one of my favorite games of all time. Silent Hill 2 has meant a lot to me over the years especially cosplaying James before the remake was even announced, so this was a surreal full-circle moment.

Hi. I’m a 36-year-old guy from New England, and like a lot of people here, I’ve never been in a relationship. It wasn’t for lack of trying — shyness, bad timing, and life just kept getting in the way. But I’ve been working on myself, opening up more socially, and I’m genuinely ready to connect with someone.

Firstly I have some sort of fame, if thats what you call it. Ive been in the news in Boston and Matt Sheer a reporter social media covered it. I’m a huge nerd who loves conventions, gaming, and cosplay. It’s been an amazing community for me, and I’ve met some great friends through it. I cosplay characters like Eddie Munson from Stranger Things and Leon from Resident Evil. I stay active, take care of myself, and oddly enough, I’m freakishly lucky with raffles and giveaways (no clue why, but I’ll take it).

I’m looking for someone kind, patient, and down-to-earth. You don’t need to cosplay — just be someone who enjoys nerdy stuff or at least doesn’t mind it. I’m not expecting perfection; I just want a genuine connection with someone who understands what it’s like to navigate dating later than most.

If you’re local, maybe we could start with something simple like coffee. No pressure — just two people seeing if there’s a spark.

Meeting Christopher Lambert while cosplaying as Raiden from the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie honestly felt like meeting a piece of my childhood face-to-face at Fan Expo Philadelphia.

Getting to stand there as Raiden alongside the original Raiden himself was surreal. ⚡️

One thing I had to ask him was whether he’d ever return for the new Mortal Kombat movies if they reached out. Without hesitation, he smiled and said, “Yes.”

As someone who grew up watching the 1995 movie, that was pretty awesome to hear.
