Advise me on my tomato please

My plants are from malwart and have been in the ground since about mid May.

Zone 7b.

The nice looking plants are Mr. Stripey.

The scrawny plants are TammiG

About three weeks ago I worked in some earthworm castings and Garden Tone. About a week ago I watered with Alaska fish.

The grapes TammiG are scrawny and many green toms have dropped off the stem.

I've got a good 8 weeks of growing season left.

Is there anything I can do to help them out?

Weather challenges here in Asheville NC

Going to be 95 later this week. But now, when I want to smoke some ribs ...

New to group.

Dismantling my home built. Converting to Vego.

I built my beds starting in 2018. Almost exclusively from scrap material. Most of it I suspected was treated. But they didn't last long. Started falling apart.

This year is a slow year in terms of the garden because of the conversion. I drive a truck, gone about 50 hours a week so not a lot of time to devote to it.

Why do Republicans and Democrats seem to be disturbed by the Socialist

I'm a non college educated 66 year old Southern white boy truck driver. Not a PS genius.

Former R.

Voted Trump once. Felt wrong then, immediately changed to independent.

To me our system seems broken.

In my opinion we need a reset, but it must be voter driven.

Imo Momdani movement, OPTIONS make sense.

Why do the establishment R and D's seem so surprised, afraid?

Thanks

Breakfast. Trucker, everything I eat is from home. Heating exclusively in a Lunch Box cooker.

Experimenting with Biscuits and Gravy.

All my meals are casserole or bowl type, all frozen and reheated in the foil half loaf pans

In this case I put about a tablespoon of evap milk in pan a froze separate.

Completely cooled a fresh biscuit

Put the gravy on top.

I will thaw this a day before.

The lunch box cooker gets to about 300 degrees.

I'll heat for a few minutes. Turn off for a few. Put a pre boiled egg in and heat for a few more minutes.

I don't eat much bread on purpose and this is a once or twice a month treat

I don't do big batches. The extent of my batch cooking is possibly doubling a normal size recipe and making a couple of plates.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Interesting Back

We are a end dump company. So we are often in quarries and factories. This is one of our tightest locations. It's on a mountain in spruce Pine, nc.

My guess is this was built long before OSHA and certainly before the EPA.

The drive is very tight and steep. I've never "engaged" the track but I'm told that over the years we've lost a lot of wheels and tires. Certainly some scrapes.

Last week I posted a train video from this site. Scared me good

Tunnel Rd near Enmark what was going on?

What happened about 2?

I was taking a nap in my gazebo on Arco and heard a bunch of sirens and then my street became a traffic jam like 285 Atlanta at 4:50 p Mondays....if you know, you know.

Loading by the tracks. Close call

I tried to post this video earlier but grabbed pics instead

Loading end dump by the tracks. Backed in from the far silo in the foreground on right .

I've been doing this for over a year and never seen a train.

Just a few minutes before the train came around the corner I was literally just a few inches from the track with truck and trailer lining up.

Then out of the blue I hear the horn...

Excitement loading by the tracks!

We are an end dump company.

This is a regular loading spot for me.

This is the first time I've had a train encounter.

Just five minutes before the train came around the corner I was snuggled up much closer to the track trying to get aligned into the mud ruts🤨

I was telling the dispatcher about it and he told me it scared one guy so bad some years ago that he jumped out of closed window on the passenger side broke through it in one jump.

Peanut butter and jelly HACK

Game changer.

Spread the jelly first. Then it won't squirt out in your lap!

How am I nearly 67 and just figured this out?

You are welcome!

Maybe I'm doing something wrong or don't understand. I did read the directions however.

Basically everything in my wood pile from recently split within the last few weeks. Get as old as a couple years old. It's all reading 10 to 15% moisture.

The only way I get anything above that is putting the probe into a live maple tree for instance and I'm getting 95% moisture. Or a clearly rotten piece of wood that I've had laying on the ground in my wood pile.

This thing was cheap partly why I bought it. Could it be that far off?
