RAMP MSP

Is it true that AA or other airlines hire more people during the winter because fewer people want to work outside? I’m especially curious about MSP, since Minnesota winters can be brutally cold. Do airlines become less selective or reject fewer applicants during that time? If so, when do they usually start posting applications for winter positions?

MSP RAMP

My husband has interviewed with AA three 3x for a ramp position, but they’ve never moved forward with him. Now he has a fourth interview coming up, and honestly, he’s really nervous and starting to lose hope after being rejected so many times.
He’s reliable, hardworking, and already has ramp experience. He currently works for Unifi as a ramp agent at MSP, but his goal has always been to work directly for American.
I don’t understand why they keep inviting him back for interviews if they’re not interested. Could it be the way he answers the questions, or is it mostly about knowing someone and having a referral? He doesn’t have any connections there.
If you work for American or have been through their group interview, do you have any honest advice or tips? We really want to figure out what he can do differently this fourth time.

Ramp agent delta/AA

Hey guys, we’re honestly starting to lose hope.
My husband has been applying to both AA and Delta for years because his dream is to work for the mainline. He finally received a conditional offer from Delta, but during the pre-employment process he made a mistake on his employment history paperwork. Because of that, Delta rescinded the offer, and now he can’t reapply for a year.
He’s one of the hardest-working people I know. He currently works as a ramp agent for Unifi at Delta, but his goal has always been to work directly for Delta or AA. As for AA, he’s applied so many times over the years and can’t even seem to get an offer.
At this point, we’re wondering if we should just let the dream go. Has anyone been in a similar situation and eventually made it to Delta or AA mainline? We’d really love to hear your experience because it’s been discouraging.

EnvoyAir contact info!

Does anyone know how to get in touch with someone at Envoy Air recruiting?
I’ve applied twice for the Airport Agent, Ramp & Customer Service position at the Rochester, MN (RST) airport, and both of my applications have been sitting at “Pending.” The job keeps getting reposted even though it’s an entry-level position, so I’m confused why my application hasn’t moved at all.
I already tried calling 844-368-6947, but no one answered and it wasn’t helpful.
Does anyone know of another phone number or email for recruiting? Has anyone else had their application stay pending for a long time? I’m starting to wonder if they forgot about it. Any advice would be appreciated!

American Airlines MSP

Is it just really hard to get hired for the Ramp Agent position at AA in MSP?
My husband has applied three different times for the Ramp Agent position and made it to the interview all three times, but they never moved him forward. He has previous ramp experience, a clean work history, and is a dependable employee who genuinely enjoys ramp work. He rarely misses work and always takes his job seriously.
We’re honestly just trying to figure out what he could be doing differently. If anyone works on the AA ramp at MSP or has any advice or could possibly help with a referral, we’d really appreciate it. Thank you!

Delta background process

I received a conditional offer with delta, and during my background check Delta emailed me asking for additional information. They requested proof of my Uber work 2022-2026 and asked me to explain why I left three employers off my background questionnaire. Those employers were on my resume/application, but I accidentally overlooked them when completing the background forms.
They asked me to explain why the employers weren’t listed, what my job duties and responsibilities were, why I left each job, and whether my separation was involuntary.
I submitted everything they requested along with the documentation I had. Has anyone had something similar happen? Did everything end up being okay after you responded, or did Delta end up withdrawing your offer? I’d really appreciate hearing your experience.
