What caliber do y'all think the SES-A2 gonna be in

Looked it up, and apparently the gun can be cambered in a few different calibers, the big two imo being .308 and 338 lapua magnum. I hope it'll be 338 and not 308, but what do y'all think?

Idea for a cool new vehicle

Almost put the flair as art, but the drawing I made is too shitty for that, and my handwriting isn't much better.

There are three aspects of combat in Forefront VR. Land, which boats a large arsenal of vehicles, containing tanks, the APC, transport vehicles, and the players themselves having their greatest mobility and cover here. Then there is the skies, proudly displaying three different helis, the Little Bird, with its agility and high skill ceiling, the Apache, with its destructive power and lethal gunner friend, and the Blackhawk, transporting troops and holding the notoriously powerful side door guns. However, the water, the third aspect of the game, has been practically left to rot by the devs since the creation of the game. We have a jetski and a Zodiac, and the APC, which never seems to get wet once. Due to this, a new water vehicle is in order I'd figure. So, I've taken inspiration from battlefield, and draw out the RCB-90 from battlefield six, put a slight spin on it, and written out the statistics of the vehicle(kinda)

The CB-90, or whatever the devs would call it, maybe like the CS-990 or something, would act as the ruler of the seas in Forefront, and have an incredible 4 seats in which the player would control a part of the vehicle, and have an additional four seat to transport soldiers across the now treacherous waters of Forefront

The CB-90 would have a number of armaments, including a automatic grenade launcher or chain gun, not sure yet, a portable mortar system, a weaker AA missile launcher, 6 water mines and two torpedos to tear through enemy vehicles and defenses for the seas. The captain would be in control of the ship, mines, and torpedos. The CB-90 would be a slower vehicle, but boasting an incredible amount of endurance against attacks of all types, with the exception of the tank, for obvious reasons I'd hope. The torpedoes would take ten seconds to lock onto a Zodiac or CB-90, and have both a lock on range and lethal range of 250m. The mines would be dropped and left to wait until an enemy vehicle gets too close, exploding and dealing massive damage if they are lucky to even be alive after the devastating power of the mine. The CB-90 would be a slow moving boat, and have to make wide turns to balance its resilience. The second seat would be the auto GL or chain gun on the top, exposing the user like a Humvee gunner seat would, but shooting a barrage of deadly explosives. This weapon would do great damage to vehicles, especially water based vehicles, and low damage to players themselves, but a direct hit would spell instant doom. The gun would have 30 to 50 ends, depending on which one or is, and would have to be manually reloaded instead of having an overheat feature like the other weapons in the game currently. The third seat would be the mortar gun, having two rounds at a time and a 10 to 15 second reload speed per round, like how the APC gun functions, regaining ammo when not actively in use. They would have essentially a large ass grenade arc. The rounds would have a large radius of effect, but can only go roughly 150m. The fourth and final useable seat is the AA missile launcher, acting as essentially a weaker talon launcher, that takes longer to use , has less range, and does less damage

MISCELLANEOUS INFO:

The driver can be shot through the front and side glass

The X's on the bottom half of my shitty drawing are the double damage zones, like when a tank takes double damage because it gets shot up the ass

The time to respawn the vehicle is two minutes

The most a team will start with at the start of a game is two

NEW MECHANICS THAT COULD BE ADDED AS WELL:

Waves for the water, to throw off aim and be more immersive overall

Flipping overturned vehicles, requiring multiple teammates depending on the vehicle's size and estimated weight

Manual reloading for mounted weapons

Swimming and deeper waters?

Vehicles have slight visual alters to help player distinguish friend from foes, such as colors, designs, and insignia

Thanks for enduring another torturous red talk of mine. Let me know what y'all think about my thoughts, any balancing ideas, weapon ideas, whatever. I'll respond to whatever I can come up with a decent response to or see. Hopefully the devs will consider adding something like this, I think. it could greatly benefit the game

What would you do of you were in charge?

Let's say, Caveman put you in charge of Exfilzone for the next wipe. You decide what gets added at wipe. Since this is a hypothetical, the devs will perfectly add what they can in a reasonable time table. The max time is 8 months. There will be bugs, but they will be ironed out later. I would have said 9, however that last month will be play testing in more depth than previously. For some things I know I will see, I'll address now. Let's say then have gotten much better servers, so that is not an issue anymore. Now, dysinc is such a rare issue, that nobody complains about it. Things don't rocket out of your hands because the server lags. Most of not all major crashing issues have been resolved, and the same goes for duping.

For me, I would see to it that armor gets a rework. The Altyn helmet is added, and the Rys-t helmet has the same stats, just more durable. The Rys-t helmet would be moved down to t5. Most t5 helmets would be moved down to t4. The OP High Protection would be split into two parts, the helmet and the jaw guard, each having different stats. Armor plates would be added, ranging from t1 all the way to t6. Armor without plates would be put to various levels from t1 to t3. T6 plates and armor would be found in raid only. T5 and lower would be accessable from Max at various amounts based on how strong the gear is. Max sells empty rigs, plates, and full rigs at various levels, prices, and amounts. Most T5 armors are trade in only, but some are purchaseable, but very expensive and very limited. T5 helmets are found in raid only, however, face shields can be traded in for. Face shields also now crack and even fully shatter when hit enough. If a faceshields fully shatters, as in is fully zeroed out or the Altyn/Rys-t face shield suffers different ten hits without being repaired. After shattering, the faceshields cannot be repaired, and provides no protection to the player. Mag pouch Ls would also be changed to sit the next pouch higher up.

Trade ammo would be stripped from traders, but much more common in raid. T4 ammo would also be much more limited from trades, but is also now a meaningful round. Due to the armor rebalance and nerfs. Ammo can also be found in larger quantities now, spawning in packs of ammo rather than the typical 15 round stack. The packs would split evenly into stacks of ammo. This would allow for more ammo to be gathered in raid, and would allow for the removal of trade ammo and the limiting of T4 ammo due to their increased accessibility

Flea market would be added. Prices would be player set, and for the first wipe it would be completely unrestricted. This could also aid in the banning of dupers. Someone selling 6000 rounds of Elite week one of wipe is almost guaranteed to be a duper. Flea market would be unlocked at level 15, just like Tarkov

A few new guns would be added, but the additions predominantly are reserved for weapon parts. The 5.45 RPK would be added to bring a new lmg to the game, and the addition of the 45 and 95 round mags. The MCX and MPX would be added along with the 300 blackout caliber. The MP7 would also make a great addition being a very small and powerful SMG. More parts would be added for weapons like the RC, M1A, and other weapons the currently have little to no gun parts

Resort would receive an extension in the form of opening buildings more. Some building in resort are completely unaccessible and most have only one or two floors. Opening more of these buildings would allow for more player spawns and more keys, as well as more loot all around

Anyways, what would y'all do if you were in charge for the content of a wipe? Seems like an interesting idea, and if the devs look here every now and then, maybe they'll get some cool ideas. Either way, I'd like to know what y'all would do

Edit: Thank you all for your suggestions and comments, there are some really good ideas in here. Anyways, I've got some more ideas!!!!

Update bosses. Currently, the bosses are, kindly put, really fuckin boring. They barely put up a fight, and are not very dangerous unless your severely undergeared. To fix this, bosses become much more aggressive, and move more and stick to cover better. Allowing them to lean around corners could add a new dynamic to fights. The bosses have an extra mag or two, depending on their weapon of choice, and they use high tier ammo, like BT and SNB for the mall boss when he uses the PKP. Giving the bosses guards could also drastically change how the player fights these enemies. The boss guards could have high tier gear, weapons, and ammo. Obviously, having worse ammo than the bosses, but still being good. Like BT and PS for a SVD, or BP for an AKM. Giving them larger size mags could also be interesting. The guards would make it their primary goal to at all times keep the boos alive, and eliminate anything that gets close, normal AI included, depending on the boss. Their gear would be T4 or T5, and they're weapons would have good parts, and attachments. Bosses and their guards could also have bags that can carry ammo, meds, nades, HVIs and keys to make fighting these challenging goes worth the risk

Having the traders require you to turn in more items could make each item you grab worth more than you might even know. Say, Tommy wants four wrenches to finish a project, or Maggie wants three centrifuges for a new medical product. These items would instantly become twice as valuable to the player for the task priority. Or sumn like that, idk

Alright, that's all I've got. I haven't seen anything about these yet, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to add them

Largeag pouches

Please fix how low they make the next pouch sit. If I put two mag pouch Ls together, the front one sits abnormally low. And on the IMTV, it's even worse. This sucks, cause it makes the SVD a pain in the ass to use. Please adjust them

Holy hell, worst UI I've ever seen

I recommend you go back to the old one. The new menu his atrocious at best. It's pathetic that such a large company can't make a halfway useable menu. I've been using lightning launcher to dodge this mess for some time, but all of a sudden, that no longer works. Firstly, the menu often crashes my game, or just refuses to appear. Pretty annoying having to continuously rejoin the game every time I get a call of like to answer. And God forbid you try to scroll down on the apps pages with stick drift. Damn thing has a mind of its own, scrolling in the complete opposite direction every time. It no longer allows me to accept calls without taking a whole minute just to open the God forsaken thing, another two to be able to register that I'm trying to open the chats app, and another two to open the thing. That's not including how long it often takes to actually join the call. By that point the person has already left. It's also way more difficult to see the thing on passthrough. And this ain't even all of it, just what I feel like complaining about today. The menu genuinely takes the gun out of vr for me. I don't enjoy playing anymore, consider it also seems to lag out every game I play. Great job meta, you e officially made the single worst UI you possibly could have, and have made the biggest fuckup of a menu

Twitch drops question

Not sure if it's a bug, but just in case. The image for one of the twitch drops showcased a defib. However, I didn't receive one, as goes with many of the other things the image showcased. Is that intentional, or...

Need this reported in discord for me

Sometimes when I buy stuff from Johnny's restock, it won't register me buying it, as in, it will act like I never bought it, didn't click buy, nothin, and if I reload the game or anything, it says I bought it , takes the money, and gives me fuck all and jack shit. Lost a defib today cause of it. Woulda only needed one more

Alright, another idea essay

This time it's for the vehicles, and again, these are merely suggestions, not what absolutely needs to happen. And, I'd love to hear what y'all have to say about these

First off, I'll start with the colder takes, then work my way up. To start, I think the ATVs shouldn't be flipping so easily. When in first person, it becomes extremely disorienting. And don't start with that third person bullshit. The point of vr is immersion, if I wanted third person I'd go buy a game on flat screen with third person.

Next, the Humvee, Zodiac, Tank, and Black Hawk gunners need a second look. Unless the vehicle, minus the helicopter for whatever reason, is stationary, hitting anything is stupidly difficult. For whatever reason, then gun decides it doesn't want to aim properly, and has a stroke. It shouldn't be too difficult, and could honestly be a shadow update in a larger update

Thirdly, the APCs and tanks should have magnified optics, like in real life. Idk if that's the correct name, but those vehicles are typically used with a bit more range in mind. Okay, maybe not the APC as much, but definitely the tank. People already tend to use the tank at range, why not give them some help

Next, and this one might be a bit much, I personally think vehicles should have limited ammo at any given time, that can be reloaded at HQ or at points. This is mainly to help against heli pilots that dominate lobbies, but to add a bit more spice to the vehicle experience in Forefront. This could also be the removal of the overheat feature, or just make it drastically longer

And finally, somehow, someway, find a way to stop kids from waiting the whole game for an attack heli that's in the sky, to immediately crash it, scream a few slurs at everyone in the area, and rinse an repeat. An vote kick feature, a wait timer, heli limits, whatever, I don't care, do fucking something, anything. The amount of times this is an issue is fucking stupid. I see everyone both here and in game complaining about it enough, it shouldn't take this much for them to fuckin get it

Tangent aside, if y'all read it all, I appreciate it. Again, lmk what y'all's takes on this one are

My take on recon, after playing it awhile

I have been seeing the complaints about recons who don't help the team much at all enough, and may have a solution of sorts. Personally, I love sniping. I've maxed out recon, all that fun stuff. However, I see a lot of people saying that having so many people sitting up in mountains sniping does nothing for the team, and the comments and posts tend to have a number of upvotes

My idea, is to shift the focus of the recon class to exactly that. Reconnaissance. Recon shouldn't be restricted to a sniper role, but focused on discreet mobility and info relay to a team. This would particularly shine in Rush, but could work in Conquest as well. Take for example, the second point of Fjord Rush. Typically, at least in my experience, those two points tend to be fairly difficult for most teams. This is usually due to a lack of knowledge on the enemy's position. Even if the attacking team still has an APC and Blackhawk, this point tends to be rough. However, what if a recon was able to slip unnoticed behind enemy lines, and constantly feed his or her squad info, and having their squad relay that info to the surrounding troops? Now, flanking is much more effective, and devastating to the enemy

To support this new play style, the recon would receive new weapons, gadgets, and perks to add to their arsenal. For primaries, weapons like the VSS, MK11, M110, and maybe an RFB could help the recon greatly with its newfound potential, with a focus on the VSS. It is an incredibly quite weapon, fits with the stealthy and sniper vibe of the current recon, is fast, deadly, and overall a cool ass weapon. The other options allow for a bit more versatility, but can still be used at close ranges effectively if needed. For sidearms, I got nothin, maybe a pocket sized SMG of some sort. However, recon would really shine with their new gadgets and perks. A sort of stealth drone, too small for c4, but quiet, fast, and used strictly as a scout tool. Or, a sort of camera, which could be checked on with a small tablet of sorts, and marks enemies when you are looking at them with the cam. However, the camera and drone would have a limited battery life, discouraging a teammate from just sitting at spawn only being a security camera, but still allowing the cam to be used. A thermal imaging device could also be incredibly useful, like a spotter scope of some sort, for snipers to be able to convey more effective information to troops, so even the bush roleplayers are useful now. For perks, something that could camouflage a recon could be instrumental for both play styles. Even something as simple as being silent while moving, or impossible to mark could be huge for the scout play style. More tools for recon that promote mobility and stealth could also be great

Sorry for the whole ass essay, but I don't know how I coulda shortened this down much. I would love to hear what y'all think about this, and as always, I'd love to hear y'all's ideas, anything that could be changed or added would be great to hear

On the notion of skins being added

I would love to see vehicles also get a set of skins. I think it'd be awesome to have both a M1 Abrams and a Leopard A2 or something like that, I forgot the second name. Or to have a tan little bird, apache, Blackhawk, or a black apache. APC could be fitted to look more like a BTR, or an MGS, or something similar. Humvees could get more styles, like one with doors off, camo rigging on one, or similar styles. Obviously keeping the immersion a priority, and not having a pretty pink princess tank or something stupid like that, even though it could be funny sometimes. And maybe the Zodiacs could have some new designs, or the jetskis could have more casual designs on them

Smuggs might genuinely be impossible bro

My first raid on smuggs this wipe consisted of killing the real iron wolf with 2 rounds of express buck to the face. Then, a normal scav tanks three to the face, point blank, and two shots me to the chest with 5.45x39 FMJ. Through an Apex btw, full durability. Then, got steamrolled by scavs for stupid peeks a time or two, got chased across the map by three elite AI for eight minutes, before a scav descends from fuckin heaven to kill me to the leg in a half second. Finally, got a task and a half done. Went back in today for Igor. Good raid, lobby is empty, and I walk into warehouse to finish protection racket. Look at the staircase, nothin there. Turn around, and hear a scav scream. An elite AI quite literally spawned directly behind me, and eat nine headshot, five of which pen, before he puts me out of my misery. God damnit, I'm still salty

So, I have a completely empty kiosk, and cannot accept the task rewards from the Silver Skull BOSS task. The glass cans take up almost all of the kiosk space already, and the AUG, mag, ammo, and gold bar certainly don't help.

Could someone please get this to the discord for me? I am not able to get discord myself, and have no way of doing this on my own

Thank you in advance

Resort, out front hospital, I was on roof, killed him quickly. Reported in game, but I don't have discord to report him there. Would someone be willing to submit one for me there?. Yes, all his ammo was elite ammo, and no, he had no loot. Also, who in their right mind would run that much elite with that shit of a kit, and waste a ton on scavs?
