Confused

Hey guys

Uk tourist in CA here. Looking to check in for the flight from Calgary to Victoria on Sunday and the website doesn’t recognise my booking reference.

Messaged them on Instagram. No reply.

Tried to download the app. Not found on my phone. Not able to download on my wife’s.

What do we do? Call them? That’ll cost a fortune as an international call but no idea what else to do.

We need to add a hold bag too, which isn’t ideal either.

Cheers

Wildlife drives

Hey guys,

Sorry for the really basic post here.

We’re coming to Canmore tomorrow after 3 nights in Golden. We haven’t had much luck seeing anything at all here really, aside from deer.

Now, my 6yo daughter really wants to see Elk and Goats (of course bears and moose etc too but that’s more random).

We were in Banff a few years back and the Elk etc were everywhere. Would that still be the case at this time of year? If not, 1A aside, where would you recommend for a drive to see things?

Thanks in advance. Love the sub.

Terrible chants in ads

Just come across a new one and you all need to hear it. No idea how to capture it and share it, but head to minute 44 of the latest Totally Football Show for the Gaviscon advert.

Car crash.

Selling club Wankfest?

I’m a Newcastle fan, for my sins, and I feel like their social media with Gordon leaving is proper over the top, an absolute wankfest.

We bought him, he’s done well enough, and he’s being sold for a profit to a massive team. Cool. No issues.

But the club have done six (6) separate instagram posts thanking him. Feel a bit too wankfesty for my liking. The guy was only here 3.5 years for christs sake.

Thoughts?

Flair airlines app

Hey guys

Flying flair from Calgary to Victoria in a few weeks as part of our trip. Tried to download their app to check a few things etc but it doesn’t seem to be on the App Store anymore. Any ideas?

I just know some European budget carriers are app only boarding passes etc

Thanks again

[gb] Canada?

Hey guys. Newbie here so excuse me being dumb.

I’m uk based and headed to Canada soon on holiday. My wife and I go on holiday a few times a year and thinking of opening a Revolut card to use when on holiday.

Done a bit of reading but seems like a good bet? Making sure I can use it abroad without issues? Load gbp onto it from my other current account and then transfer that into the CAD/EUR whatever and it’ll do that without cost and use the local currency when I spend.
Is that about right? Basic account ok or worth paying a touch extra?

Cheers
