Just received from Amazon. Is this used?

Got this as a birthday gift for my mom, we opened together and "broke the seal" on the stuff like usual. But to me it looks used?

My mom (50s) had stage 1 breast cancer ~5 years ago and has been disease-free. She was treated with chemo, lumpectomy on right breast and radiotherapy, followed by 5 years of tamoxifen. It was a bit aggressive given her diagnosis but she wanted to make sure it was "gone".

She recently got her yearly check up and her blood results are fine, but there was a new finding in her ultrasound and mammogram compared to last years.

2026 mammogram: BI-RADS 0, asymmetric density in left breast, right breast shows post-surgical changes only. No suspicious calcifications, no lymph nodes.

2026 ultrasound: 8x7 mm hypoechoic lesion in left breast with irregular margins and shadowing (possible scar tissue?), no lymph nodes.

She is scheduled for MRI for further evaluation.

Has anyone had similar findings that turned out to be scar tissue vs something else? We are worried sick, and she won't be able to get a biopsy for the next couple of weeks as she is set to travel.

The growth is on the other breast

Hey all, happy Sunday! Hopefully this post is allowed.

I journal and write down good things that had happened to me that week to end my day on Sundays, and was hoping to bring some positivity here maybe in case that helps someone :)

  • This week I got to hang out with my close friends after a loooong time (years) and it felt so good!
  • Also my best friend who was about to move to another country due to unemployment and visa just got an amazing offer and will remain here!
  • I don't feel so tired waking up anymore!

What are some good small or big things that happened to you this week?

I have had some bad experience holding packages for neighbors where one time they didn’t pick up a huge package for 3 weeks despite my attempts to contact them and the other time them picking up and then reporting they didn’t pick up and I got a letter from Hermes.

As a result I started declining the delivery guys but every time they started to just kind of throw a tantrum, so I’m not sure if this is considered bad etiquette on my part. Hermes guy actually started skipping my packages all together and Amazon guy when I said no to taking packages just started speaking in a very low voice and got rly angry at me

Idk! Is this weird?

I took a few months break from Oct.~ to now, after having lost 19 kilos. I continued exercising and eating same, mentioned my appetite stayed very suppressed so I was able to eat at a good deficit. However no matter how well I ate and exercised, I kind of got stuck on 89kilos. I would eat at all kinds of deficit to see if my body just needed a "soft reset" or there was 1-2 weeks I ate at maintenance and again, after eating at deficit for 4 weeks again I would be still at 89.

I got so frustrated I started Mounjaro again and from the very first week I immediately dropped to 87, and after 2,5~ weeks I am not 85,9.

I am not meaning to sound like a conspiracy theorist just curious if others had same experience. I was hoping to get off mounjaro to continue losing at some point both for money reasons and just in general, but this makes me feel like my body has been kind of altered by mounjaro?
