Cellar spider preying on giant house spider?

I was made aware that cellar spiders are the apex predator amongst spiders (at least here in the UK), and I know they sometimes kill and eat giant house spiders. I didn't think a small one like this would be able to kill something so much bigger than it, though, or maybe it found an old shed skin? I'm interested to see what people think.

Is my sister getting taken advantage of?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question specifically but I could do with some other point of views.

My sister is 18 and she met her boyfriend online who is a 25 year old Nigerian. I tried to not racial profile but I'll be honest it did raise some red flags. As she turned 18 she gained access to a decent amount of inheritance money which has quickly disappeared around the same time as they started to meet in person. Apparently he works a decent job in London but he's been asking my sister for money because his visa is running out but why does he need the money if he has this decent job, my sister has fallen for him hard and based off of the little bits of information I've managed to get out of her it all points to her being manipulated and used but then there's the chance that maybe that really isn't the case, as much as I'm finding that hard to believe rn, really want to hear other opinions on this.

Are thorns dangerous for my sticks?

I've had my Indian stick insects for a couple of weeks now (first I've owned within the last 15 years) and they go crazy for bramble.

I've been snipping all the thorns off with scissors to be safe but it's getting pretty tedious, is there any risk of them getting hurt or should I keep snipping the thorns to be on the safe side?

Found my old collection but...

I found out my old childhood pokemon card collection and there's some pretty good cards in there, the only problem is they feel slightly damp and have abit of a musky smell to them.

I gave them a clean with a damp cotton bud, aired them out and left them in an air tight tub with baking soda for 2 weeks as it told me to do online, they still have abit of a smell to them, is there any hope in saving them or are they for the bin

Advice or tips on caring for my first insects

I got my first two Indian stick insects today and I'm curious if anyone has any advice or tips on caring for them or any advice for the enclosure.

I have done some research I know about temperature and humidity, diet, misting and how they moult. The roof is only temporary the enclosure has got a proper meshed roof but I'm waiting for some fabricated mesh to be delivered to cover up large ventilation holes.

I recently found this old revolver that I bought over a decade ago. After searching online I cannot find what type it is or what year it is from, anyone got any ideas?
