It was just a fun thing to try out. I'm not good at acting or voices. I was mostly trying to copy their style. Thanks!
I've been writing comedy sketches and jokes for years but never performed apart from as part of an improv class to the improv coach, one time and that was one line as part of an exercise.
I would really like to challenge myself and perform a short stand-up set at this year's Edinburgh Fringe.
I live here so travel is no issue. I would like to know if anyone has any advice about how to achieve this goal. I'd be happy with a 2-5 minute set to be honest (probably no longer than 10 minutes for my first time). For context, my style is one liners.
I'll leave a link to my channel and attach an example if anyone wants to see the kind of thing I do, and to see if you think it's even worth giving it a shot.
Much appreciated!
