Finally Got There

Finally Got There

Been diving for years now, and yet I've never really had any success with the various "Single Buck" stores which everyone else seems to find such great stuff at (which no longer only cost a singular bill; a complaint for another day)

Finally realized I have one <5min from my house, which facilitated me checking on it every day for over a week, and things weren't looking good... Before I finally hit pay dirt on the 8th day. Woo!

Now most of it is spicy which is no good for my melanin-deprived self 😂 but I'll take it. Plus it means I have somewhere to check more often.

Pray for my gut biome, fellas 🙏

Looking for a Song Penny Sung (Chipmunk Movie)

Hello all, I'm looking for something I only vaguely remember happening on some video/stream a number of years ago; Penny began singing a little ditty which I later realized came from "The Chipmunk Adventure" movie of 1987; the song title is "Off to See the World" (the one with the hot air balloons)

I'd love to be able to find that clip again, just to get the context. It was kind of a poignant moment of lost nostalgia for me. Thanks!

Which old Mobo/CPU is better?

My computer died recently, and while I haven't yet figured out whether it was the Mobo (ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING) or the CPU (AMD Ryzen 5 1600), I'm fortunate enough to not have to worry too much: I've got a number of old computer parts lying around to resurrect my rig.

Key among them are two different Mobo/CPU combos that I am trying to decide between:

(#1)

CPU: INTEL Core i7 i7-6700 SR2L2 3.40 GHZ

MOBO: ASUS Z170-A ATX LGA1151

(#2)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G 3.6 GHz Quad-Core

MOBO: MSI B350 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4

I've got the RAM for either, but I don't really know which one to go with.  I don't need overclocking or AAA games or anything really more advanced than mild gaming & internet usage, etc.  I'm basically just trying to use the newest/best one, and/or the most 'future-proof' one.

Thanks!
