How do you even hit anything melee??

(FYI I am very aware this is a skill issue on my part)

Staunch bow/bg/hbg user here and I needed some tail slices for some stuff I was making. Being a noncutting user I realized I either had to rng on captures (my prefered method to end a hunt anyway) or grab a bladed weapon and double my chances.

I went through a bunch of cutting weapons to get the job done and tested them out on R.Ludroth as my measuring stick, was more looking for what weapon "felt good" vs "what's most efficient" and I gotta ask as an aforementioned range user...

How the heck do you melee players hit ANYTHING?

What's your favorite Prowler type?

I've been playing around but I'm struggling to decide on what type of prowler to settle into using, so I kinda wanna hear what ones other people like using?

The unobjectively best way to do the Bherna Village Quests...

Petting Moofahs while hunting with goats. Mentioned it in a discussion on here that while I love World, GU is on a handheld and as such can play unseen out doors with my babies

[TOMT] Movie where the dad makes bad pizza?

I'm trying to remember a vague memory of a movie I watched. I *think* it was a Disney Channel original movie but I could be wrong? There was a running gag where I think the dad kept making crappy pizza and by the end the key to his pizza being good was adding seaweed to it?

I can't remember the main plot or any of the characters faces to guess actors for it. Any help would be great.

"Honorary" fossil pokemon?

The fossil pokemon are some of my favorites since childhood (I was a dinosaur kid) but to an extent I feel like there are some pokemon that deserve an honorary status like Relicanth, Shellder, whatever Genesect USED to be before modification, the pokemon that evolve with Ancient Power, etc.

I was just wondering what other pokemon you guys would consider for honorarily prehistoric aside from those that are themselves resurrected from fossils? And also 'why' for fun?

Edit: I'm loving reading all these suggestions and having a great time reading dex entire for mons I hadn't even considered/Thought about/knew!

Edit: It's doing something like that too when I open Firefox.... it's like bouncing around and the tabs up top are moving around on their own?

Is it normal for Pygmy goat triplets to vary so wildly in size?

Back in February my Mama Pearly Baker (Suppossedly half Pygmy/ half Fainting) seen in the corner birthed triplets Ruben, Cerise, and Stella (Right, left, and Bottom respectively. Also born in that order.) Stella was the runt and smallest and Mama rejected her so she's lived indoors as a bottle baby while her siblings stayed with Mama.

Now though they are crazy different sizes. Stella pulled a Clifford the Big Red Dog and went from the smallest runt to the tallest and longest (only 'est' she isn't is the fatest...), Cerise is the next biggest and is a complete butterball but still small compared to Stella, and then there's Ruben. Look at him by his mom's head. He's a goddammit circus peanut!

I've kidded Nigerian Dwarfs and so far have had pretty consistent sizes, but these are my first Pygmy babies and I'm just wondering if varying that much is normal? Or maybe it's the suppossed Fainting genes in there somewhere? Or maybe Ruben is just a Munchkin among Pygmys...?

Amber Isle on game native: jagged effect when moving?

Sorry it's sideways...

I'm using the known configuration settings for Amber Isle on steam through Game Native and it plays fine with rare minimal crashes, but I get all jaggedy when I move around outside the shop, and while I can play just fine like this I was wondering if anyone knew what settings to change to fix the jaggedies?

I've played with some of the settings but they don't seem to change anything and being tech stupid I don't really know what settings to even play with to change this?

I am a fan of ufology and local lore, my mother was telling me of a UFO/UAP sighting by her brothers when they were kids where they saw some lights in the sky flying nearby the moon that stayed there for quite a while, eventually flashing brighter and then shooting off. Her father didn't believe their story until it was reported on on the Channel 3 news shortly after.

This would have had to have happened between 1976 and 1985 maybe? She's not sure. The brother who witnessed it has since passed away so I can't ask if he remember the year.

In my research most local ufo reports in the area around that time frame is overshadowed by the Hudson Valley UFO incident, so I was hoping maybe someone on here might know of this UFO sighting considering it had made the news? This was apparently a core memory for my uncle and what got him onto the Ufology interest, and in my youth he was sort of my Ufology/Alien encounter buddy to watch documentaries on the topic with and sort of just wanted to kinda see if I could find anything on it or any other witness to it. Kind of like reconnecting with my long passed Ufology buddy.

So yeah, does anyone on here remember the UFO/UAP sighting in question?

And even if not do you have any local ufo/uap sightings you've heard of/encountered?

(Not sure if this is the correct flair?)

Recently there was a bunch of Meatloaf songs being covered by a band on youtube, I'm not sure who the band was because I recognized them by the art they used for the videos. In the last few months they must have taken the album off YouTube because I can't find them anymore. As mentioned, I don't know what the band was just the cover art. Was hoping someone here would know who they were?

The covers had a mostly purple and green color pallet, with heavy inking that gave it an almost comic book look. The imagery had a lot of references to Meatloaf songs and albums, the focal being a guy and girl making out in a car that's parked close to the edge of a cliff.

Was just wondering if anyone was familiar with it or new the band name?
