Does anyone use mounted figures in a game?

They seem to have down sides but no up sides.

I have painted up 20 mounted figures but not used them in a game yet.

I have stripped the pistons out of my NC.

I took the head off last week and that is dropped off for a light skim.

Big end bearings look ok, but I will replace them anyway. Marked them with the cylinder numbers just for reference.

My NC is burning a LOT of oil. Tried the cheap solutions (PCV valve, etc), so now resigned to replacing the rings.

Started the work. Bit warm in the UK at the moment so limited endurance on the driveway. But battery, ECU, p/s pump, airbox, intake boot, under tray, scuttle plastics, scuttle brace, strut braces, etc removed. Getting to the point of the jobs left being the hard ones!

I took the under tray off today, and to get a bit more of a look at things I pulled out the wheel arch plastics (so front shocks/ springs out). To check for corrosion

Overall not too bad. A few minor bits of surface corrosion on the body shell. Cleaned up and treated, and I will put some paint on when it arrives. Subframes not great, but not too worried about those as still solid and bolt on parts (at some point I will buy replacements and fully tidy them up before fitting).

For a car with 138k miles, used all year round, living outside and with UK salted roads I am not unhappy.
