Also moving to the area soon* Looking to commute north of or in Fayetteville with a route more nearby North Fort Bragg/Raleigh. Any traffic/living advice?

Hello everyone! (Credit to Evening-Snow-6979 for their earlier question format)

I’m going to be relocating to North Fort Bragg for work in a few months and I wanted to ask for local advice.

I've been looking around spots like Spring Lake, Littleton, Terry Sanford, and maybe Hope Mills. I've been trying to find somewhere nice thats a 15-30 minute commute from North Fort Bragg where Id be able to visit Raleigh on the weekends.

I’d prefer to live closer to base near/in a smaller Veteran friendly city with some restaurants and things to do with hopes of a decent work-life balance. Ive heard Raleigh is a nice city thats focusing more on Technical/Internet jobs and opportunities. Id like to live near work, but I wouldn't mind an hr drive on the weekends to go visit.

Right now I’m debating whether its worth it to live in Fayetteville (around Skibo Road/Terry Sanford), more NE towards Spring Lake, or maybe S in Hope Mills. I'd rather not drive 40+ minutes to and from work (Raeford/Southern Pines) and be away from Raleigh.

My biggest question is traffic and security. Being single, I've been told by peers to avoid Bragg BLVD. Are there any areas that I need to pay extra attention to to avoid? Any fellow Warhammer nerds that know where is best to hang out at a LGS?

Appreciate any advice.

Moisture tank leak question.

Hey everyone,

I just got myself a secondhand Master Airbrush compressor with an Iawata Eclipse. The seller was getting out of the hobby but I noticed while the Iawata is gtg, the compressor's moisture tank was leaking. I did some further inspection and saw there was quite a bit of rust built up on the exhale pin. I took it apart and cleaned/scraped/lubed it and its still having issues. I see there's a replacement online for $20 for the entire assembly but before I buy a new tank anyone got any ideas?

Might be that the rust build up caused Micro leaks or etc.

Here's another reason why magnetizing your Knights is a good idea 💡

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share. I'm working on storing my WH for a potential move in the future. They all fit nicely into one 12Quart size box from Walmart. This box fits x3 regular sized knights and x2 Castellans. (Picture 5 has them built on the shelf)

I can say, I'm glad I took the time with these fellas to make their weapons come off for easy switching and storage. And yes, I know I need to paint these boiz eventually 😅

Hey Everyone,

Needed to reach out to see if I can get some help on this. I've been rocking an ECH with the OpsCorps MCHC Gen 2 cover for a while now. I've recently noticed out in the field that my NVG mount wont lock the Rhino arm into place. I tried getting a mallet/cushion to try to hammer it in to no success. I contacted OpsCorps to see if they still sell these cover kits and they've been out of production for a almost 6 years now apparently.

They dont have an NSN to my knowledge, and the only thing I and their Customer Service can find is based off the bar code. Can't really do much of anything without a NSN.

Anyone know if there's a way to fix this without taking a screwdriver/hammer to this mount? Main thing is that little plunger device isnt able to lock it so I might be SOL.

-I have the orginal ECH mount and it works but that one just needs a little umpf and its locked in. This one isnt locking in whatsoever. Any help is appreciated.
