If this Curves bug affects your workflow, please vote on the Adobe bug report.

If you frequently use Curves in Photoshop, especially if you switch between the R, G, and B channels using keyboard shortcuts, this bug is a significant workflow regression.

Since Photoshop 27.5, switching channels deselects the currently selected curve point. You have to click the point again every time before you can continue editing, slowing down a workflow that has worked for many years.

Adobe has confirmed they can reproduce the issue, but the report still needs more votes. If this bug affects your workflow, please consider voting:

Auto Color Panel Switching for Illustrator

I just released ColorPanelMode on the official Adobe Exchange.

It’s an Illustrator plugin that automatically switches the Color panel to match the active document’s color mode.

https://exchange.adobe.com/apps/cc/205494?pluginId=205494

Illustrator’s Color panel is not synchronized with the document’s color mode. Users have always had to switch it manually.

ColorPanelMode simply removes that extra step by automatically matching the Color panel to the active document.

The document’s actual color mode (CMYK or RGB) and the Color panel’s display mode are also frequently confused, because they are independent settings. By keeping the Color panel synchronized automatically, the plugin helps eliminate that confusion.

A resident script launcher for Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop

I work with Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop every day, so I built a script launcher for my own workflow.

Scripta! stays hidden at the edge of the screen and appears only when a supported Adobe application is active.

Features:

• Multiple script folders organized as tabs
• Mouse-over to open the launcher
• Keyboard shortcuts for tabs and scripts
• AppleScript support for integration with Keyboard Maestro and other automation tools
• Multi-monitor support
• Built-in SCRIPTMETA support for script descriptions and update notifications
• Available for macOS and Windows (alpha)

Scripta! is free to use.
