Parents who have sleep trained their children

Are there nights that you have to hold your LO to sleep, rock your LO to sleep etc because it’s just one of those nights? And then continue the night routine back to normal?

My 1 year old is sleep trained but tonight he was just having a tough time and called for me so ofc I snuggled him to sleep. But my husband thinks that has ruined the sleep training.

I honestly don’t really care because if my LO wants me to hold him and/or is having a tough night of course I will hold him.

Though, is my husband right? Did I ruin the sleep training?

Edit: my LO is 13 months old

Edit#2: I failed to mention that my LO has had diarrhea all day today which is why I cuddled him to sleep bc I know he needed extra comfort even though he is fully sleep trained. He’s a 2 episodes during the middle of the night but usually holding him has worked and didn’t ruin the sleep training. Today was just different because I did it before bedtime. I’ve gotten some comments which I don’t care to answer anymore because I know what’s good for my baby so if you think me or we are being bad parents well congrats thank you for making me feel sh*tty. Some failed to understand that I wrote I don’t care if I did ruin the sleep training because I’ll be more than glad to cuddle my LO to sleep. We also sleep trained because my LO likes to have his own space and we wake up super early for work so yeah not a good option for all of us. I genuinely wanted to know if my husband was right. So if you’re not going to answer my question then hold your mean opinions to yourself.

As for the kind people, thank you for your positive and informative response. I will try to answer you all tomorrow.

What’s a healthy shaving cream option for my cooter?

Hi all, I’ve been navigating through shaving creams and they all seem to mess with my ph or sting a bit down there when I shave. I went to the drug store yesterday and came to think that maybe yall can help me pick a healthy shaving cream to shave down there.

I’ve no budget and would like anything organic and if it helps I use the Gillette Venus pubic hair and skin razor. Perhaps, someone can also recommend me a good razor as I’m struggling to remove hairs in the upper middle part.

Thank you in advance!

Can my LO still have my breastmilk that was left in a cooler for 5 hours?

Got back from work around 7 pm and totally forgot I had some breastmilk in my yeti cooler with ice packs. I just took them out practically at 1 am and put them in the fridge it’s been 5 hours that they were in the cooler.

Are they still drinkable? If so how soon should I give it to my LO?!

I added a pic to show how it looks like

How can I remove this?

I accidentally forgot to remove the sticker label before putting it to wash and dry. I was able to remove most of it but the rest seems stubborn.

Help please

9 month old is behind?

This has been bugging me for a while now. My LO had his 9 month physical this past Friday. Dr said that he is behind on motor skills bc he doesn’t stand alone whilst holding on to something. So he told us to take him to physical therapy.

I told him that when he’s crawling around the floor he actually tries to stand up on his own 2 feet but he just ends up doing a downward dog stretch and he does hold on to like the couch whilst standing but when we place him there. He’s fine with other motor skills but this according the dr.

We figured he’s just taking his time to independently balance himself since he did take his time with rolling and crawling. He also loves to be carried. I guess I just want to know if this is something alarming.

LO has very dry lip

Help!! Im a ftm to a 9 months old boy. Recently, his upper lip has been getting so dry that when he stretches it, it rips and starts bleeding. Is this normal? Can I put something to help with the dryness?

Perhaps it’s worth mentioning that he loves to suck in his bottom lip A LOT. I can’t even tell if his bottom lip is small and just has a big upper lip
