A parents to a child with Psoriasis - Looking for recommendations

Hi everyone,

My daughter who is 6 years old was diagnosed with Psoriasis by a dermatologist earlier today.

I'm not surprised considering I'm personally suffering since I remember myself from Atopic Dermatitis, and unfortunately my prayers to God that my daughters will not have skin issues have not been answered.

As you can see my daughter has one patch on her knees and much smaller one on her butt cheek.

As a person who suffered from TSW after using Steroids for years I am not willing to treat her with anything that has steroids.

What would you recommend doing that can help her?

Any recommendations from your own experience with kids would be appreciated!

Dupixent - Armpits side effect - Any treatment (No creams...)

Hi everyone,

I'm using Dupixent for 18 months and lately I developed res patches on my armpits which I did not suffer before.

Is there anything you recommend doing to get rid of them?

I'm not using any steroids or other creams and avoiding them since Feb 2024.

I am recovering from TSW with the help of Dupixent.

Btw

I monitored my situation with Claude, it is very helpful to analyze what could be the cause to flare, how well I'm sleeping, how often I'm injecting, etc...

I know that some would not recommend leasing it, however, I have my own reasons.

What would you recommend me doing?

Moving from Asia to the Bay Area—where can I find CPL or equivalent male hair removal/maintenance?

Hi everyone,

A few months ago, I moved from Asia to the Bay Area.

Back home, I was doing CPL (Controlled Pulsed Light) treatments for hair removal. It worked incredibly well for me, and I just need to find a place for routine maintenance sessions every few months.

Since moving here, I’ve been having a hard time finding clinics that explicitly list "CPL." From what I understand, it's very similar to IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) or diode lasers, but please correct me if I’m wrong!

I'm looking for recommendations for a reputable clinic/spa in the Bay Area (ideally around the South Bay/Peninsula, but willing to travel for a great spot) that can continue this type of light/laser maintenance.

Crucially, the place needs to be male-friendly, as I am looking to treat my lower back and some other sensitive male/intimate areas.

Does anyone have recommendations for clinics that offer this tech and are experienced with male clients?
