I need you to help me test my new app marketing tool! 🫵🏼

Around two weeks ago I posted here asking what your routine actually looks like after launch day. Most of the answers were saying that Apple Search Ads and Socials were the key to succeed. Apple Search Ads was an easy win, but I got frustrated with socials.

After trying couple of days with posting I got frustrated because I was spending more time creating content rather than focusing on my product.

Then I remembered that some friends built a tool to help independent authors to publish their books to socials and engage people with them. And I asked if I could use everything they developed so far and changing the books for the apps and they agreed. So the last two weeks I have been porting that and adjusting the final result is quite good.

The app is still in beta development, but it's already fully usable and posting content to TikTok. It takes 2min to start!

If anyone would like to help me testing it and getting as a reward free access for couple of months would be awesome!

How do you promote your apps after launch day?

I've been building apps for a while. Shipping them is fine. Getting anyone to see them is not 😅...

The pattern is always the same. I post once on launch day, get a small spike, then nothing. I tried a few options but to be consistent on social media is being very hard and as a dev it gets quite annoying. So I stop after three days and the app goes quiet.

You can see here all the apps I have been working: https://apps.apple.com/es/developer/false-peak/id1814853797. If you have any feedback, I would love to hear back!

So, what does your routine actually look like after launch day. What do you do? Do you post in social media? How long before it did anything?

I'm not after growth hacks. I want the boring version that someone actually keeps doing.

Flights App Update [2.0.0]

Hello everyone! I just wanted to share my work for the last two weeks that I did into the Flights Pebble App! The version 2.0.0 is already available 🎉

The idea of the app is simple. Just enter a flight code like "VY6249" and get everything you need for your trip directly on your watch. Departure times, gates, delays, weather, boarding countdowns, and all the tiny details that suddenly matter once you’re in an airport.

https://preview.redd.it/xigt73jvnc0h1.png?width=682&format=png&auto=webp&s=495ca33284568429a537be24fc06c8b401529221

With the new 2.0.0, the focus wasn’t adding more "crazy" features. It was making the app feel polished: faster, cleaner, and more reliable instead of feeling like a tech demo. One of the toughest decisions was removing the boarding pass scanner. The idea was fun: upload your BCBP, generate the Aztec barcode on the watch, and scan it at the gate.

But “works most of the time” isn’t good enough at airports. Barcode generation had too many edge cases, and an 80% success rate at a boarding gate is worse than no feature at all. Nobody wants to hold up a queue of exhausted passengers while twisting their wrist under a scanner.

So I scrapped it and focused on making flight tracking genuinely solid instead. Honestly, I’m much happier with where the app ended up. Let me know about your opinion of the app and if you would love to see something different in it!

You can download it here and if interested in the release notes there are all of the new changes. If you like it give it a heart ♥️, I would appreciate it a lot after all the effort!

PS: The fact of having a special mention during the Spring Contest 2026 helped a lot to keep improving and working with the app!

Hola!

Visca!
