When the opponent locks in Heimerdinger, is the strategy just to leave the lobby before the game can start?

Seriously, I've had more fun laning against Malphite and Teemo than this. Feels like I'm tower diving just trying to take one minion. Riposting his bomb, even if I land the stun, doesn't make a difference because his turrets aren't affected. He never runs out of them, even in early game if I kill one turret he always immediately pops another down. And they take multiple attacks to kill because they're so damn bulky.

And since it'll probably be brought up, I'm not really in an elo where I can rely on junglers to help, and don't have a jungler friend to queue up with. The game I just suffered through that prompted this post, our Warwick's strategy was apparently to try to tower dive Heimerdinger while Heimer still 3/4 of his health, and didn't even manage to land his ult so he just got stunned. I've tried buying hexdrinker early also, but not before Tiamat because I felt like I needed all the help I could get with wave clear and cs.

Is there ANYTHING I can do to kill his turrets faster than he can spawn them? Should I just beg mid to lane switch and mutually give up on our lane quests? Or as the title says is the best option really just to abandon the game before it has a chance to start?

Can you recommend me a safe blind pick champ to learn?

My favourite top laners are Nasus, Yorick, and Fiora. I've found I really enjoy champs that have the option to split push later in the game, which is partly why I like those three so much.

I know Fiora SHOULD be a relatively safe blind pick, but that'd require me to be better with her than I actually am. I've done well with her in plenty of games, but struggled against some champions like Heimerdinger (mainly because of turret poke), Darius and Sett (because tbh I don't have quick enough reflexes to parry their grabs). Nasus can usually manage fine because if he gets access to farm, even under tower, he can scale and usually eventually beat back his opponent, but with how prominent tower diving seems to have become lately and how many champions are seemingly able to do it consequence-free even under a huge slow from Wither, I've struggled pretty badly in some of my recent games.

I had to pick first in my last game, and picked Nasus. Ended up against a Teemo 1-trick who REALLY knew what they were doing, full credit to them, I didn't stand a chance, especially when Teemo feels like Nasus' number 1 counter pick. (My midlaner ended up bullying me into a lane-switch before I'd even finished my quest by showing up top, taking all the minions, and refusing to leave while yelling and ping spamming at me in chat to go mid, where I ended up struggling just as badly against Locke because mid had been losing against him just as badly as I had to Teemo, but that's beside the point and is just something I needed to vent about a little.)

I just want some recommendations of new champions to try that have at least a decent fighting chance no matter who they're against, lane bullies like Teemo and Darius included since they're usually my main weaknesses. I don't feel the need to be the game's main character carrying my team all the time, I just want to be able to play competently and contribute well.

Deadlier blades is pretty good on Jinx reroll.

First two pics are how high the item had scaled and what her ability damage was going into the final round. Third pic is from the previous stage, showing how high her damage numbers were at one point (they got lower in later rounds as my team grew and other units started doing more, leaving less for Jinx to kill.)

How to deal with teammates trying to steal camps? Is it report worthy?

I don't mean late game when the midlaner takes a blue buff while you're dead or on the opposite side of the map or anything, I mean getting followed through the jungle by someone trying to get the last hit on your monsters. Does this fall under team sabotage so I can report it?

If it helps, this was 100% out of spite based on the tantrum in chat that followed me asking him to play safe, after seeing him complain (one word at a time) about getting ganked early a couple of times. He said my jungle is safe, so he followed me there, then shot at my krugs to try to get the last hit, failed to steal the big one from me, and continued following me for a bit (only gave up because my camps were already gone because of invading). Also, this was a ranked game.

I just want to know if it's even worth reporting that kind of thing, because it's not like he was inting directly, but he 100% was trying to set me back.

I need advice. Worst game I've had so far.

I know Rengar famously is a champion that struggles a bit to play from behind. But there's playing from behind, and then there's whatever the fuck I had to endure in the last game I played yesterday.

I got off to a rough start. Enemy jungler was Talon. I took an incorrect gamble that he'd probably start Blue since I thought he'd be kind of mana hungry and want the ability haste from blue buff to help his clears (probably should've guessed he'd start red because his w clears the raptors so efficiently), long story short I went to ward near his red and took some damage and got a little delayed starting my first camp. Not the worst start, just a little annoying, I was only a few seconds behind so far. Did most of my first camps, then went to get the first bot-side crab. I know I probably should've just left it and hurried to the top-side one instead when I expected Talon would be nearby, but I figured I could contest it. But just as I killed it, Talon showed up, and his botlane came to help while we had a short fight. My botlane did not. This becomes a pattern.

I go to try to contest the first dragon when I see Talon trying to get it from my crab-ward. Once again, my pings are ignored, and I only realise when it's too late that his team are happy to help him and mine aren't paying attention. Then he gets void grubs similarly. I focus on farming up to level 6 while Talon doesn't need to, so he starts getting lane kills, gets a big lead on me, and suddenly my camps are disappearing.

That's when my team starts initiating fights that they lure into my jungle, specifically near where I'm trying to farm to catch up in gold a little. Even if they've established a pattern of ignoring me getting caught out and killed, I can't just ignore them fighting a few steps away. I try to help. I get killed. I start getting ping spammed. I ask them to stop because it's not helpful.

By this point the enemy team starts hunting me for sport in my jungle, because I am desperate to get any amount of gold and exp I can. My team of course have no interest in helping me beyond ping spamming at me if I get caught, but frankly by this point there isn't even anything they could do to help if they wanted to, because I'm going from a full health bar to dead within half a second of Talon appearing on my screen. I would've built some defensive or bruiser items, if I'd actually been able to kill the gromp without getting murdered midway through the attempt (the gromp being the only one of my camps the enemy team had left alive on that particular rotation). Sadly I wasn't getting the chance due to having no opportunity to get any gold whatsoever.

I should, frankly, have not been playing ranked in the first place because I hate ranked games and they stress me out, but I really want the Victorious Rengar skin and I have no idea when the deadline is for those 15 ranked wins. I've played about 4 ranked games so far since learning yesterday that Rengar is the Victorious skin this season and that I only need a certain number of games won, rather than having to reach a specific rank. I've got 2 wins and 2 losses, and I kind of struggled in all of those games because team coordination was awful in all of them, but at least my team were winning their lanes in 2 of my games and weren't blaming me entirely any time they got killed.

I know what my early mistakes were. I should've skipped trying to deep ward at level 1. I should've deep warded at level 3 before contesting the crab instead. I probably should've just given up on the first dragon. I should've focused exclusively on farming to level 6 so I could start aiming for kills, since that's the only way I could really compete with Talon's ability to start ganking at level 3. But after that certain point where I couldn't actually step into my own jungle without getting killed, what should I have done? Start farming waves in whichever side lane was furthest away from teamfights? Because even with my attempts to help on the rare occasion I wasn't just focused down and killed immediately (with multiple enemies burning unnecessary ults on me seemingly just for a laugh at that point), my team weren't really getting any kills, so I couldn't even attempt to snag some assists for gold. I just want to know what I can do to avoid ever being in such a helpless and miserable situation again.

Can he jungle?

Hi everyone. I'm a very casual player, no idea what rank I would be if I tried ranked, and I usually hang out in top lane or jungle. I tried A. Sol a little pre-rework in midlane but he was a little too tough for me to learn, and only just recently gave him a try in top lane, where (as far as I know at least) he isn't usually played, but it felt like a safer spot for me personally to play around with and figure out his abilities. I actually quite liked him in top lane (Nasus is my favourite champion for one primary reason: I love permanent stacks and seeing numbers go up) and might try to keep him as a pocket-pick since neither of my lane opponents knew what to do against him, and both times it seemed they thought my melee mid-laner would be their opponent and tried to counter them.

But! That leads me to my actual question. Can he be an effective jungler? I'd be worried that he might struggle with his first clear, but once he's got a couple of levels and maybe a tome, he'd be able to pretty safely start stacking stardust via e-ing camps like the raptors or all the mini krugs. And his high mobility from his w would be a big help with getting around, escaping invades (not actually all that common at my elo even when I play more vulnerable junglers) and of course, ganking lanes.

I'm of course tempted to just give it a try for myself and see how things go, but anything can work in theory if I happen to find myself on a good enough team. I wanted all of your opinions on whether or not it's worth trying to learn him in this role in earnest.

2nd place with anima 6...

It's the last thing I need to get 1st place with, and I just got 2nd place with it by 1 round.

I had 3* Illaoi as main tank, 3* Diana as main carry, 3* Aurora as secondary carry. I had no emblem, since I seem to be the only player immune to getting one, so I got to 6 via Aurelion Sol's stupid 8-combat long quest. I did however get a challenger emblem from my first augment which I think is how I made it so far in the first place, because anima is generally really terrible.

What should I be doing to try to get this last point? What comp works? Especially if I have another shot at Sol's thing and end up with +1 to every non-unique trait, what's the best comp to do with that that includes every anima champ? Apparently Diana carry is not the way to do it.

In the incredibly unlikely event that I get an emblem instead, I'd also appreciate some advice on how to make the best use of it.

Sandile, or Crocodile pattern I could modify?

Hi all, I've been stuck looking for a pattern for the pokemon Sandile. It seems as though only one pattern for it exists (or at least, only one is coming up in my search results) and to be frank, I'm not a huge fan of how it looks from the one single image the designer has posted of their finished work. The main thing is that at least to me, from what I can make out from the limited view in the photo, the head shape doesn't seem quite right for how flat and wide it should be, especially with how the "cheeks" protrude. (It also does turning chains at the end of each round, which is not something I've seen before in amigurumi, but that's beside the point.)

Ideally I'd love to find a Sandile pattern that looks a little more accurate to the pokemon itself, or failing that, a crocodile pattern in general (preferably worked in the round or with joined rounds, I'd rather avoid turning my work every round) that still has the sort of raised eye shape. If anyone can recommend one, I'd really appreciate it!

I'll link the only pattern I could find of the pokemon itself for reference.

Widow chooses Goon, what happens next?

The Widow sees the grimoire, and has the opportunity to be the first one that night to choose the Goon. The goon has the Widow's "poisoned" token added to it, while the Widow has the Goon's "drunk" token added to it. The Goon is woken up to be told they've turned evil, since an Evil player chose them first that night, because the Widow's poison did not take effect and negate the Goon's alignment-change ability because the Goon made the Widow drunk first before that could happen. Then, nobody is told there is a Widow in play, because the Widow became drunk before that part of its ability could activate.

Is that correct?

Going forward, from night 2 onwards, the Goon is evil. But the Widow has become sober because the Goon's drunk-making ability has worn off, so the Widow's poison is now back in effect, meaning the Goon has no ability and can no longer change alignment or cause drunkenness.

At this point, does someone learn on night 2 that there is a Widow in play because the Widow is sober again? Or has that part of its ability been skipped because it was drunk at the point when that was supposed to happen? The Widow's ability doesn't say "On night 1, someone learns there is a Widow in play." It just says "1 good player knows there is a Widow in play," implying this is a continuous thing, and the player should be told once the Widow sobers up and their ability is active again.

They've been posting on a bunch of their socials (mainly linkedin apparently) about their excitement to start using generative ai to replace the need to hire photographers for images of their products, pattern works, etc, and incorporating ai into their business in other ways going forward. They were the main yarn supplier I used, I was a super regular customer, their honey bunny chenille is my number 1 favourite yarn to work with so far. I am quitting Hobbii completely after hearing this because I can't, in good conscience, continue to support a company that would do this. Their entire customer base is an artistic community, one that gen ai has been causing problems for since it first started to become prevalent, and they turn around and do this?

I might consider going back to them if they 100% drop the ai slop and reverse their stance on it completely, but even at that if they announced they're listening to feedback and taking that action it'll take some convincing to make me believe they're committing to it. It might not be easy to find an alternative that ships to Ireland for a reasonable rate, but Hobbii has completely lost my business.
