Yeah it seems like this game is dead dead.

Figured I'd fire it up and maybe play for a bit, been waiting a little over 10 minutes trying to find a lobby and nothing yet. According to Steam Charts, people are still playing so what's the deal?

I'd understand if I was playing the Xbox one version or I had cross play turned off but I'm playing the Series version and I have crossplay turned on.

At least before Friday shut down permanently, you'd find full lobbies immediately.

Just wanted to see if there was any new bugs or if shit was broken.

You can kiss any idea of a remaster for this game goodbye,Gun is being sued by Horror Inc over millions in unpaid royalties. Gun is trying to play the victim as usual though

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EuHKTr48w\_4

This is honestly funny and justified because Gun did a lot of shady shit with this game, like a lot. Plus they destroyed documents relevant to the lawsuit.

Gun claims they were apparently working on a remaster but I doubt it would've happened anyway because 1.the licensing agreement ran out already. 2. Well because of this new information about unpaid royalties. 3. It's Gun and they can't be trusted about anything they say.

I'm willing to bet that they did the same thing with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre game too, why else would they abandon that game before the 2nd anniversary when it's still selling well and they're making money from DLC sales. They never said that the licensing agreement ran out and never gave an a actual reason for ending support. They probably knew the TCM rights holder were on to them so they bailed before they could be found out.

I'm also willing to bet that the reason why Gun begged illfonic to be co-publisher on Halloween is because they knew the lawsuit was coming and wanted to have money incase they lose the lawsuit. Illfonic should buy out Gun and get as far away from Gun as they can.

Anyone else have a ref try to get you kicked out of a game not once but twice?

Back when we still played at Anderson Arena when fans could stand on the sidelines, there was one ref who just kept calling bullshit against the women's team and I of course called him out on it, mind you I didn't swear or anything at him but he apparently didn't like being called out. He came over during a time out and said something along the lines of "if you don't knock it off, I will have you kicked out" and me being the smart ass I said, for what? I'm not breaking any rules. I figured that was the end of it, because i only seen him once more at Anderson and he never said shit to me.

But apparently he held that grudge because 3 years ago I see him at the Stroh. We're sitting behind the team, I figured he had let it ago considering it's been like 8+ years at that point but nope. Soon as he comes out on the court, he looks and me and his expression changed. I didn't specifically call him out but I called out all 3 for being biased and blind. Half time rolls around, as the refs are walking past where we're sitting at I said to all 3, "hey refs, how about calling the game down the middle next half".

Apparently he didn't like that and he heads towards a campus cop and I start laughing about how absurd the whole thing is, he turns and points to me as I'm laughing. Once he walks away, I walk over to the cop still laughing a bit and asked what the ref said. The cop said something about how I'm supposedly out of line or something(can't remember what exactly he told the cop) so I tell the cop that the ref tried this once before and that I've never been kicked out of any games in 20+ years and never even had trouble with any other ref. The cop takes my side because he's literally within ear shot of where I'm sitting at and even he said i haven't said anything out of line. He said don't worry about.

I've seen him once since then which was 2 years ago, he looked my way a few times and didn't look happy to see me.

Funnier thing is that one of the team managers talked to me after that game and asked what that was all about, she said she never heard me say anything wrong. 🤣

It's still funny to this day because he did in fact hold a grudge for a long time. Really hope I see him again this year LOL. He's the only one I've ever had issues with in going on 30 years of attending games.

I'd like to hear about any encounters anyone here has had with refs.

I get charging for The Conjuring haunt but not others.

I'd gladly pay extra to go through the Conjuring haunt and whatever new IP one they might get this year but not the normal ones that have always been included with admission for Halloweekends and season passes. I will not pay $15 or even $10 or less for mediocre haunts that haven't been changed in at least 5 years or more. Willing to bet Slaughterhouse hasn't changed because the last time I went through it before they charged for haunts, it was the same as it was back in 2018. Fearground Freakshow was trash back in 2024 compared to 2018.

I won't even waste my time with the free outdoor ones because Blood on the Bayou sucked in 2024 compared to 2018, moving it didn't help.

Willing to bet Cornstalkers hasn't changed much nor has Cut Throat Cove.

If you have a season pass then the indoor haunts that aren't IP based should be free.

I won't support charging for stuff that was free in 2024 and before and has been free with admission or season pass ever since haunts became a thing. If Halloweekends is sponsored then why does the park need to charge for the indoor haunts? Make it make sense.

I'm still gonna go to Halloweekends at least twice but I will not support the nonsense.

There's no valid reason to charge for stuff that was free two years ago. None of that money is going to park employees or scare actors.

Need help getting better at playing online. I'm decent but not good. I'm sitting at 40-81 so yeah..

I tend to lose control/composure in a tight game or near the end when I could potentially comeback and win.

I've been blowout more times than I can count on both hands.

My passing is 49% and rushing is 49%. Don't know where the other 2% is LOL.

I tend to scramble a lot if I don't think I can complete the pass.

Any tips are appreciated

Watching the park cams at 3am is actually fun

Couldn't sleep so I decided to watch the park cams, specifically the one facing towards the front gate.

It was eerie yet beautiful seeing most of the rides and entire parking lot lit up. I did see either a maintenance truck or possibly a street cleaner occasionally which I found neat. I kept waiting to see someone walking through the park LOL. did see a shadow moving just past the Skyride station closest to the camera. It could have been on the little flags flapping in the wind.

I do wish they'd fix how blown out the lights look though or get better cameras.

I was telling my dad that it would be cool if somehow they could have microphones on the cameras so you could hear the sounds of the park at night.

Watching the lights on Valravn "crawl" up the lift hill is oddly satisfying

Rumors from Facebook or rumors from wherever shouldn't be allowed

There's zero proof to back up any rumors especially from Facebook groups or pages or even youtube or from other subs.

I say the moderators need to ban all rumor posts or comments about any coaster or ride being torn down or whatever other ridiculous rumors people come up with.

Those types of posts serve zero purpose and are only posted to stir shit up and farm karma.

PSA: The Cluckin Bell Raid,Kno Way and Dr.Dre are not heists and don't count for the challenge.

I don't know why a lot of players seem to think those 3 count but its annoying seeing at least people per day ask: "does Cluckin Bell Raid count" or "does Dr.Dre count"

if you'd search on this sub before posting your question, you'd find the answer immediately instead of going by what a stupid Ai bot on Google or Bing says.

I kinda get it if you're a newer player but there's no excuse to not search this sub first. You'd save yourself the time typing and inevitable disappoint and possibly the time you spend doing one of those 3 thinking they count.

Those three are contact missions not heists, heists and contact missions aren't the same thing.

Hopefully this doesn't get removed and maybe gets pinned so the sub doesn't keep getting the same questions over and over.

Edit: the only actual heists that count are: Cayo,Casino,Fleeca and the OG apartment heists.

GTA VI takes place in the HD Universe aka in the Trilogy Universe and I can prove it.

Looked at the bonuses for the $100 edition and there's a revolver for each player that comes from the Vercetti Estate.

Weapons

HAWK & LITTLE MORGAN REVOLVERS

His and hers versions of this powerful revolver with classic Vice City stylings sourced from the Vercetti Estate, including palm-tree-etched grips, engraved detailing, and high-performance scope.

That's from the website for the game.

Why else would the name Vercetti be mentioned if VI isn't in the GTA Trilogy Universe?

I mean V/Online already proved this with all the refrences to past games like San Andreas and Vice City.

In one of the images for the pre-order bonuses, the characters are standing in front of Ocean View Hotel from Vice City.

Maybe Rockstar is finally going to acknowledge that IV,V and now VI are part of the same universe?

There's no reason not to because nothing contradicts anything else.

In V/Online there's OG Loc and Madd Dogg records, there's Love Fist merchandise everywhere, BJ Smith(the guy you buy Sunshine Autos from in Vice City) has a park in V/Online named after him, you can buy an autographed football that he signed for you casino penthouse,Degenatron games still exist,Jack Howitzer is in a TV show, you can buy a guitar that was owned by a Love Fist member,Cluckin Bell and Burger Shot from San Andreas are there and so many more refrences from those games are in V/Online and will now be in VI.

There's too many refrences to just be coincidental.

Ok, let's settle this. Question about Millenium Force

Many years ago while waiting in line, I heard someone(could've been a ride op but can't remember) that there was a 4th train at one point and its in storage. It's supposedly green but I've never seen and nothing comes up on Google or Bing.

So those who either worked their when it opened or have been going since before it opened or after the first few years it opened. Was there a green train.

I went back in like 2007/2008 my first time but only rode one coaster and that was Disaster Transport then didn't go again til 2017. So it was 2018 I heard that being said and I didn't get to ask that person any followup questions.

They need to bring back the giant T-Rex from 2017

He was standing near the gates at the front. I'm pretty sure he was removed in 2018.

I wish I had gotten a picture next to him.

On another note, the dinosaur walk through was ok BUT they should have made some of them move or have it open after dark. That would be a great idea for an outdoor haunt, turn off most the lights, pump in dinosaur sounds with fog. I'd honestly pay to go through that.

So many great things the park has done away with like the original paddlwheel excursions, snoopy on ice,the giant T-Rex,Disaster Transport,Luminosity(I think I spelled that right) Iron Dragon VR and yes I know it slowed down load and unload times and some headsets didn't work. I got to experience it one time and the video reminded me a lot of Skyrim(if you know you know).

The water canons on Maverick, the old fashioned cars in Frontier town(they didn't really fit the themeing but they were cool), Witches Wheel,Snake River expedition(it was only good the first year and actually had actors and a story) and fireworks every weekend like 2018 and Wicked Twister(this one hurts the most)

Oh and fog on Iron Dragon.

Edit: this isn't complaining about anything(shouldn't have to even include this) but just reminiscing about stuff that was removed over the years.

Need help with ASA on Xbox Series X. I'm dealing with what I can only describe as pop in.

It only happens on my buildings, I turn around or look up and walls or doors or windows look like they pop in.

Happens when I'm deleting a wall or whatever too.

It doesn't look like screen tearing though and if it was then it would happen other places too and not buildings.

What are must have mods/overhaul mods for ASA on Xbox Series X?

It's been a while since I've had ASA installed and I remember I had screen tearing issues and occasional lagging so I just uninstalled it. Want to get into playing it again but don't want to deal with those same issues.

Any mods or settings I can use to prevent that?

Dead by Daylight copied stuff from this game for Jason..

Literally copied Jason's shift ability and knife throwing just called his shift ability: Omnipresent Evil and knife throwing:throwing spikes.

Figured Behavior would do this.

Can't come up with original powers for their version of Jason.

I miss arcades especially because I grew up going to the arcade almost every day after school, on the weekends and over breaks. Got to do that because my dad worked at the mall in another business.

Spent like 80% of the day at the arcade and like almost 10 years of my childhood/teen years at the same arcade.

From playing DDR Extreme 2 to Revolution X to Rush 2049 to Wacky Gators to NFL Blitz and so much more.

Got to know some of the arcade employees really well so usually I'd get to play some games for free.

I'd give anything to go back and experience that.

Made many friends in those years too.

If this isn't allowed, sorry.

If you've never played the Face to Face race called F2F Traffic Jammed,do yourself a favor and bookmark it and run it with max players allowed

Pretty sure it's available for all platforms, last time I looked it transferred over to the E&E version on Xbox Series and I'm about to play it

It's a transform race and it's a blast with max players allowed which is 16 I think.

It's so absurd and might piss off some people but I can guarantee you'll be laughing the entire time because of how absurd it is.

Discovered it back on the Xbox one version.

Hope this doesn't get removed because I'm not looking for other people to play with, just informing players of this absurd yet funny race.

I feel like the upcoming Halloween game is the 2nd coming of this game.

According the articles I read about the game mechanics and the teaser videos we've seen, it looks to play identical to Friday the 13th. Even Michael has the Jason shift ability.

You call the cops, gather weapons and fight back and looks like firecrackers are back too among other stuff from Friday.

Seriously watch the trailer and tell me that's not the same mechanics.

Wanted to share my story of two separate incidents from 10 years ago when I delivered newspapers

Me and my dad got a job to deliver newspapers in the early morning as a sub contractor, the truck with the newspapers would get there around 1am and we'd be loaded up by 1:30am. Nothing happend the first few weeks, outside of the occasional uneasy feeling being out late/early.

Incident 1 happened probably 2 months into the job, we had one customer who lived back behind some other houses on that street with a long drive way where most times we could turn around or get close enough to the porch to just toss the newspaper out the window. This one particular morning I'd say probably around 2:30 am, the customers car was blocking most of the driveway so I had to get out the car and take it place it on her porch.

As I'm walking back to the car, in the tree behind me I hear this noise of some bird or something flapping its wings but this wasn't like ordinary flapping and it sounded like whatever this thing was, was pretty big and the sound kept getting louder, I turned around and looked at the tree but couldn't see nothing but the branches moving from the gust this thing was making.

There was zero wind that morning ,zero. Soon as I saw the branches moving, i hurried up back to the car. My dad asked me what was wrong and I told him and said look at the branches. The branches were still moving a bit but not like they were, first he thought it was just the wind but i said that can't be because there wasn't any.

That was the first and only time it happened but I was nervous about delivering there for a few weeks.

We don't deliver anymore but still drive by there occasionally because it's kinda close to where we live and is on the way to the store. I don't know what it was and I didn't want to know, I'm glad I couldn't see it. If I had to guess it could have been a shoebill stork BUT those don't live in this area and we don't have any large birds in this area especially not with big enough wings to shake tree branches.

Incident 2 took place maybe a month after 1, we of course had a customer who lived at the funeral home that's on our route, I'd have my dad pull through the drive and sit the newspaper on the step without ever getting out because I refused to and hate them, nothing happened until this incident and nothing happened after.

As we go to pull out and turn right to go on to the next street to deliver to other customers, something told me to turn my head towards the main door that faces the road in front of the building.

Both doors are see through which isn't normally anything to worry but at this particular time, I saw a man standing in between the doors, like standing in the walkway between the outside door and the one leading into the building, which while weird if it was just a person but I could see right through the man standing in the doors. I literally could see the inside of the building through the man standing between the doors. This happened around 3:00 to 3:15 am. I did a double take because I wasn't originally sure what I saw and the man was gone. Sure it could be said that I was probably tired both times but I wasn't ever tired on the route ever.

Those were the only two incidents that occurred on that job, we didn't stay at that job much longer anyway.

I can see both incidents replaying over and over in my head pretty vividly.
