So I made my First Quad

I did all the soldering! I did have a very experienced quad builder next to me walking me through it though. Let me know what you think! I’m pretty psyched to have gained this knowledge especially because it was wayyy easier than my jock brain made it out to be👽

My First Flight!

I’ve been in the sim for 50 hours now and I felt pretty confident! I went straight for the trippy spin and realized oh shit it’s a little different lowkey. I did make the save no crashing(except for landing). I’m really excited to share this because it’s something I’ve wanted to get into for a long time and I finally got that opportunity. Thank you to everyone for the support in my journey! This is only the beginning!

Drone Registration

I am a part 107 licensed drone operator in the US. I would like to fly my drone(skyrover x1) for some real estate companies in Costa Rica. I keep hearing conflictive opinions about registering the drone vs not registering it and just not being an ass about my flights. I’d still like to sell my footage so I’d be more on the commercial side and I intend to be in Costa Rica for a longer amount of time. I’m worried about the DGAC and then seeing my footage if I don’t register.
I guess I’m here to hopefully make sense of all this information and hear from some tico/tica people about how strict the DGAC really is.
