Baby snails are growing so fast. They're so tiny, but have tripled in size. They're about 3 weeks old now.

Performed the first cull today. There really any that looked like runts, all are growing around the same pace. Apart from 3 that hadn't grown at all.

Here's a little video of two of my babies.

One was having a little chomp on my hand 😅🐌❤️

I posted a while back (maybe 3 or 4 months ago) about my 5-6year old snail Lady, who laid 9 eggs. Obviously none hatched.

However almost 2 weeks ago in the early hours I checked on my snails, and there was around 10 baby snails in Lady's tank. I was really confused as I never saw any eggs, and she lives alone.

Fast forward to later that afternoon and there was around 60-70 hatchling snails. I wasn't aware self fertilised eggs could even hatch, let alone that. many of them.

So I went from 3 snails, to a lot of snails literally overnight.

I have separated them into a smaller tank with everything they need for now.

If anyone has any tips or advice for a snail keeper that's never had babies before, please do leave a comment.

Does anyone else get this subscription for their hamsters?

They give donations to a different monthly charity, and only put in items that are hamster safe, like toys, hides, treats with no added sugar etc all boxes have q different theme too. Very cute.

This box theme was camping I believe.

I just got Freja's first box today.
