My brain sucks

My irritability is really starting to ruin my ability to enjoy life.

I've always loved to read, but ever since my last brain surgery, I have absolutely no patience for anything anymore. Hell, I was rereading one of my favorite book series recently and found myself getting irrationally angry at one of the characters. This character has never made me feel this way before, but now they piss me off so much that I actually have to put the book down, walk away, and calm my ass down before I can even think about continuing. It's a fictional character, for fuck's sake!

I miss having a brain that actually worked. I miss being able to enjoy the things I used to love without everything turning into frustration, irritation, or outright rage.

I hate this.

Yay! I got one for the spousal unit!

My stomach doesn't seem to like pasta anymore. Plus, I got lucky years ago and snagged the annual pass, then completely burned myself out on pasta.

Now that you’ve backed out of the BCBS partnership I’ve basically got no hospital options left. It’s either UNM Hospital or some random place out in Grants.

I’m due for surgery, and now that’s not happening anytime soon. I have to start all over at UNM and wait months just to even get an appointment.

And I’m paying over $200 a month for this garbage insurance—why the hell is it so expensive if it covers next to nothing? Insurance is a fucking scam. The healthcare is a fucking joke.

I'm tired.
