Cool spot to take a 6 year old for dinner?

Hey folks, I'm bringing my six year old over to palmy tomorrow to watch a magic show in the evening for her birthday.

Was wondering if there are any cool spots around to go for dinner beforehand?

She's a pretty adventurous eater, but she's also six...

Thanks all!

Drinking your own breast milk?

Does anyone else do this?

I started by drinking the milk I collected in the middle of the night with the haka because I was too lazy to take it to the fridge and didn’t want to waste it. We didn’t wind up using bottles at all so then I just started drinking whatever was collected myself.

I swear it helped me fall asleep quicker during the night feeds and also with my production and recovery 🤷‍♀️

Hi all. Took my daughter on an adventure up the Whanganui River Road to the convent at Jerusalem. She found these two huge feathers and we're wondering what bird they may have come from.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Howdy all. Have just spent a couple hours fighting with my oven to reattach the thermostat knob as it had come loose from the screws holding it in place.

While I had it out and had the back off, I found there were some sketchy looking areas around the long coil of wire that runs from the thermostat knob at the front to the probe in the oven, and also over on the other side where a bunch of wires run that select which function the oven runs on.

Looks like things are getting very hot back there and just wondered if anyone could tell me whether this is normal from use, or if there is a larger issue at hand.

Few photos here to illustrate what I'm seeing.

Also just a quick note to say I'll not be attempting any repairs like that myself, shit scares me.

Thanks in advance and hope you're all smashing the DIY jobs on your long weekend!
