How to help her lose weight?

Darla is about 3, spayed, pit/staffy mix. My parents brought her home in November. She's on Purina sensitive stomach that's been mixed with other brands (no odea which ones).

She was 35 pounds when she got to my parents. As of her last vet visit in June, she weighed over 50.

Part of the issue is my parents aren't able to walk her (they have a 1/2 acre property, about half of which is a fenced yard), and they redirect her bad behavior with treats. Treats were replaced with kibble after a month or so. She is very much a chewer, and was going through a rib bone a day for a while.

When I try to walk her, she will cooperate as far as the neighbor's house, then grabs the leash and tries to walk me back home.

She was getting 1/2 1 cup 2x a day, which has recently been reduced to 2/3 2x a day.

The last dog we had that needed to go on a diet was over a decade ago, but we reduced kibble and added no salt added green beans. When they tried that with Darla, she didn't touch the green beans.

She's somewhat dog reactive. The daycare she goes to when my parents are out of town are working with her, but that's not anywhere close to regularly, and when I take her to my neighbor's house, she gets along with their dogs, but is on sight with a different friend's dog.

Any ideas/suggestions on how to help her lose weight?

[TOMT][THING] metal piece of hardware to join two pieces of wood/furniture

It's a thingy that can be screwed in to hold two pieces together. I know I've seen straight ones and ones that are like a 90* corner. It's flat, not like a shelf bracket.

When did Hector get the CA feature?

I'm just restarting the game (managed to get a string of hate endings and decided to just start over) and talked to Hector just out of the tutorial, and he now has a content aware flag. When did that get added?

Can you back out of a Content Aware character's route after starting it?

Say I start Keith's route. I have Content Aware on, so Skylar shows up and gives her little speil. I say I'm fine, and want to keep going. Is there a way to tap out after that? Like, this route is more triggering than I thought from Skylar's description, and I can't do it anymore.

Is there an option to basically say "this was fun, but you were right and this is too much"?

EDIT: I'll just see if I can find playthroughs on Youtube to see what's going on in more detail.

I had a question about something I heard in one of the hidden videos

So, first of all, I have no idea if this is known or not, the most recent dive I've found is a year old, so I'm adding a spoiler tag just in case.

I've found 3 hidden videos on the site by clicking the photorealistic bugs. (on the Food page, on the Stickers page, and following a hidden link in the woods in the top left area of the Neighborhood map).

The one I had a question about is the one on the Food page. Frank is walking through the snow to get to Poppy's house. She makes him tea and a bowl, and they talk about the events of [what I assume was] the Brick By Brick storybook.

Poppy is laughing her panic attack off, and says "Oh, the look on Ron's face!"

Who's Ron?

As a follow-up of sorts, Poppy says that she never smokes when she's working. So, like, are the puppets real people? I mean, I know that was a theory fairly early on, but has that been confirmed?

Should I do a friend thing or take myself out for a fancy dinner for my 40th b-day?

So, I don't really have friends, but I've been hanging out with my D&D group a bit more than just sessions. I could invite them all to do an escape room and hit up a Korean BBQ nearby. Alternatively, I could take myself to a Michelin starred restaurant in my area.

The Michelin restaurant is kind of a bucket list item for me, but I also really don't do social things that much.

TL;DR: Should I do the thing I kinda want to do solo, or do the social thing that I should probably do for my mental health?

I'm currently growing out an undercut. At the moment, it's about 3 inches long on the sides, and shoulder length in the middle. It was pink for a while, but the color faded, and my roots are about an inch long. I won't really be able to get to a stylist until the end of the month.

TL;DR: Hair is looking scruffy. Stick it out or shave it off?

I'm there right now, and they just came over the intercom instructing people to evacuate, then security at the doors were telling everyone it was a false alarm. The announcement to evacuate came in at 7:13.
