Hate or love?

Truth be told, I MUCH prefer this baby in a full wood stock for the aesthetics but for the sake of weight and ergonomics a more modern stock can’t be beat. This is my attempt to have the best of both, I still get the wood and steel but with the center chasis, it’s so much lighter and slimmer in hand.

Gives me Star Wars/Fallout vibes, pushing old tech into the modern world. What do you guys think? Open to ideas as well for improves, additions, and so on, I plan to add a light and other attachments but this is it as of just getting the chasis today.

Plus one demo on my Mossberg 590R

Just figured I’d show how it runs since a few folks thought it would get in the way. As I say in the video, I think it runs perfectly fine, it’s another option, I love to see innovation and new things tested, especially for shotguns.

Midnight sun Garand Hike

The mosquitoes were absolutely horrendous but the poncho and veil kept them off me no problem, just had to keep moving and ignore the constant buzzing in the ear. Garand was loaded with Hornady 168gr ELD vintage match rounds. Saw plenty moose, bear tracks but no bear in sight.

Midnight quest with the staff of pinging

The entire quest we were plagued by swarms of blood bugs, thankfully my enchanted garb, mainly my woolen poncho, held the bastards at bay. My client hired me as protection while we searched for a rumored archive left long abandoned by a genius mage gone mad ages ago. Client was unable to bear the insects and we had to retreat to attempt the search again with better preparation.

Mosin Scav in your area

Yes hello, it’s me again, the poncho guy. YES, my mommy did take my photos, yes I had fun doing my little photoshoot.

Pushed the Finnish M39 Mosin out to 670yds shooting S&B 180gr 7.62x54R from a seated position, iron sights, no additional support, at a 4x4ft square steel target. Forever amazed at how capable and well made this rifle is. Poncho/face net were more for the mosquitoes eating me alive than they were for the drip (this time), I was originally just rocking a tank enjoying the sun.

CURSED WEAPON CRAFTING

Behold a weapon that will be a curse to those in good health but a second chance to those with any substantial injury or impairment. By forming a pact with the mold, you accept immense power as well as knowing you can never live without it again and will be adverse to dry, heat, overt light for prolonged periods of time and more. But you will be one with all mold capable of detecting ambient information within your immediate vicinity, the larger the mold cluster, the more information can be gathered. Further secrets and abilities to be discovered the longer a host survives paired with the mold.

More of the same from my previous post

Go walking any wooded areas close to town and this is what you find waiting just off trail. Moose and bear not being the only concerns. Sometimes I meet some of these homeless folks and they’re not bad and polite, other times I’ve been yelled at, threatened, chased, all for walking a public trail or exploring public land.

And again the needles, where kids play and people have their dogs running off leash, crazy.

Posting this because of the other post with the littered Taco Bell cup

This is insane to me. And if you’re wondering, these aren’t just homeless camps but TWO separate camp chop shops for modifying stolen bicycles, upwards of 40 bikes, dismantled, serial numbers removed, parts mismatched and painted so they can’t be recognized by the original owner. Not to mention all the other stolen belongings found. I found people’s mail, reward cards, ID tags from their work aprons they left in their car, family photos, wallets, all their car paperwork and so on, just mountains of waste and stolen property. And not the first time I find places like this in town. I report these findings to the MOA, I hope y’all do the same if you hate littering because this is unforgivable. I can sympathize with someone down on their luck but these are the dens of full time thieves looking to score their next fix, the camps littered with tons and tons of needles and alcohol.
