34F, single for 4 years. Does anyone else just miss having a partner to do life with?

I’m 34F, single, and generally pretty happy with my life. I have a good career, my own place, friends, hobbies, and I enjoy my independence. But sometimes I really wish I had someone to do life with.
It’s not even necessarily about marriage or kids anymore. It’s the everyday little things. For example, I recently paid someone $100 to assemble furniture and thought, damn, it would be nice to have a man around to help with this stuff. 😂 Or someone to take out the trash, split household responsibilities, run errands with, or even split this ridiculous California AC bill lol

Obviously, I can do all these things myself. I’ve been doing them for years. I just miss having a partner, someone to share the mundane parts of life with, not just the exciting ones.

For context, I was with my ex for 10 years and engaged at 30. About six months before our wedding, I found out he was unfaithful and ended the engagement. So being single wasn’t exactly how I imagined my 30s going.

I’ve dated over the past four years, but nothing has really worked out. It seems like whenever I get to the three-month mark and bring up wanting something serious, I hear some variation of “I’m not ready for a relationship.” At that point, I usually walk away because I don’t want to waste anyone’s time, including my own.

I’m not miserable being single, and I’m definitely not looking for someone just to pay bills or do chores. I genuinely want companionship, partnership, and someone to build a life with, problem solve and just deal with life together.

For those who have been single for a while, do you ever feel this way? How do you deal with those moments when you enjoy your life but still wish you had someone to share it with?

SNF, Home Health 1099

Has anyone done a 1099 PMHNP role like this?
$75-100 per visit, with mileage reimbursed. Patients may be in SNFs, at home, or telehealth, and they try to cluster in-person visits geographically. Schedule and caseload are flexible. I’m in SoCal
I’m considering doing this part-time and would love input from anyone who’s done something similar. Was it worth your time ? Anything I should consider before accepting?

Question for anyone who contracts directly with networks:

I was recently contacted by a group interested in adding me to their provider network, and they’re asking me to provide my contracted rates for specific CPT codes. For those of you who have done this, how does the setup typically work? Do you need to have your own LLC/practice entity and billing system, or can you contract directly as an individual provider under your NPI? Also, how do you determine what rates to quote? Any insight would be appreciated!

SNF 1099 vs MED MANAGEMENT W2

I’m a PMHNP currently working 2 days/week at a community clinic, but they can’t increase my hours due to budget constraints, so I’m deciding between two opportunities.
1. TMS/med-management: ~$190K W-2, M–F 8–4:30, 10-minute commute.
2. SNF psych: 1099 with a physician I previously worked with inpatient when I was an RN. He’s now a medical director at the hospital and also runs a hospice in the area, and he has multiple SNF contracts. Pay is around $100–$130/encounter, with the ability to choose my own days/hours as long as patients are seen. Downside is more driving. He says his PAs see around 30–40 patients/day.
The SNF flexibility and earning potential are appealing, but I’m trying to figure out if the numbers are realistic or too good to be true.
For those doing SNF psych, what are you paid per encounter and how many patients do you realistically see per day? And what does your current work split look like — W-2, 1099, private practice, or a combination?

Starting compounded tirzepatide at 5’4”, 162 lbs — anyone lose 20–25 lbs and maintain after stopping?

Just took my first tirzepatide shot tonight! I’m 5’4”, 162 lbs and hoping to lose about 20–25 lbs. I’m active/go to the gym, walk 10k but struggle with food noise and cravings (especially around my period). My LDL is also 177, which was another big push for me to make a change.
Starting dose is 12.5 units (~2.125 mg with my formulation).

My diet is already pretty protein-focused: oatmeal + egg whites + chia for breakfast, lean ground beef + protein pasta for lunch, and usually salmon + potatoes/veggies or a high-fiber protein wrap for dinner. I LOVE coffee and I enjoy alcohol, although I know drinking may need to change on this.

For anyone with similar stats/goals: What was your first week like? When did the food noise decrease? What side effects did you have? Any foods/drinks you had to change?

And my biggest question: Has anyone lost the weight, stopped tirzepatide, and successfully maintained? Did you taper, space out doses, or stop completely? Did the food noise return?
Give me the good, bad, and what you wish you knew before starting!

Sinusitis or Tooth Infection

Has anyone had severe positional jaw/tooth pain from a sinus infection?
I’ve been sick with cough/cold symptoms for a month then 3 days ago I came down with the most debilitating jaw pain ever. Thought it was dental and was evaluated by two dentists. They both said my teeth and dental X-rays look completely normal—no obvious tooth infection or dental cause. I’ve honestly never experienced anything like this before, which is why it’s freaking me out a little.
The pain comes in intense bouts and feels like pressure in my teeth/jaw that radiates toward my front teeth/incisors, almost like something is going to “pop.” It gets noticeably worse if I lie on either side or tilt my chin/head backward. This morning it suddenly hit 10/10, then dropped to about 7/10 within several minutes after I sat upright and took ibuprofen. Still coughing up yellow/greenish mucus quite a lot esp in the morning

The dentists think it may be sinus-related referred pain, and I’m currently taking amoxicillin, Tylenol and Ibuprofen round the clock. Pain in improving with less frequency. I’m just hoping they didn’t miss something and that this really is sinus pressure rather than a hidden dental problem.
For anyone who has had sinusitis cause dental/jaw pain: did yours feel this intense and positional? How long did it take before the pressure and pain started improving? Did antibiotics and pain medication end up being enough, or did you need additional treatment? I also work PT so don’t have health insurance so that’s another thing.

Update:
The pain got so bad yesterday that I ended up going to urgent care. It was literally 10/10 pain — I was crying, sweating, and it just was not letting up
Urgent care also thinks this is sinusitis, & saw fluid in my left ear where I felt alot of pressure, so they changed my antibiotics from amoxicillin 500 mg to Augmentin at a higher dose. They also added prednisone and loratadine/Claritin and told me to continue alternating Tylenol and ibuprofen for the pain.
I also bought a steamer and have been doing nasal rinses, so at this point I’m really trying everything and hoping I start seeing some improvement soon.
I’m still nervous about whether there could be any dental involvement because the pain has been so intense and one-sided, even though the dentist said my teeth looked fine and didn’t see an infection.
I’m also definitely having respiratory/sinus symptoms: runny nose with mostly clear drainage, sneezing, coughing, and yellow-greenish sputum when I cough. The coughing is especially heavy in the morning.
So yeah, we’ll see how things go on the new treatment. I’m really hoping this is just a severe sinus infection and that the Augmentin/prednisone finally starts calming everything down. Has anyone else had sinusitis cause pain this severe, especially jaw/teeth/facial pain on one side? This is crazy
