picked these up last weekend. Pure Blue Japan tea core with brown weft in their 019 fit.

sizing was a little wild on these, as 34s measure in at 35 inches and their 36 measure in at 38”. I opted for the larger size and ran them in a hot wash, and a tumble dry on high heat. got the perfect amount of shrinkage (36.5” waist). make sure to turn inside-out, and if possible stuff the legs for the dry cycle with some other clothes to prevent hard creases.

Looking forward to breaking these in. The yarn core will expose over time and the fades will be a copper brown colour.

I’ll post progress pics as these continue to fade.

N&F MIJ 10. These are fairly new with minimal wear. Got these on the reissue earlier this year. Epic Texture. Hairy and neppy, and after a first soak (these come unsanforized, so I started with a hot soak) they Develop an awesome rough texture, while remaining pretty comfortable.

I had a bit of chaffing at my knees in the first few wears but that has subsided and these are pretty comfortable now.

T-shirt is the Wonder Looper Double Heavyweight in Sumi Ink. This tee is 💯, fits so well, (I’m a size L, 6’1, 200lb) and has a flattering drape that masks my dad bod.

Perfect for summer. Coming in at 14oz, the Pure Blue Japan SMBL-003 has a muted (smoky) light blue tint taking a nice break from all the dark indigo and black. These jeans are full of texture, similar to the Oni Crushed Concrete. Super comfortable, with a perfect straight fit.

Paired with a Wonder Looper Fox Fibre Iron Mordant Tsuriami tee (that probably could have used a bit of ironing).

Piger Works out of Thailand offers exceptional quality and craftsmanship. The sizing on these is bang on, and at 20oz you’d be surprised how comfortable they are. I just wish I could wear these more often in this California heat because they’re quick to fade, and look incredible in any condition.

The weft is dyed with thai volcanic ash and rosewood bark, giving these a mixture of deep blue and red/brown tones. Peep the last photo to see that weft coming through.

Plenty of customization with these guys. I chose the “hidden arc” back pocket detail, that fades in as you wear them.

Cannot recommend these guys enough. Absolute masters in their craft. Just a beautiful pair of selvedge denim.

Finally got a pair of Oni Secret Black jeans to match my type 2 denim jacket. This fabric rocks so hard, and for 20oz is surprisingly comfortable, and gets even better with each wash.

Naked & Famous Citrus Kasuri paired with the Nike x Tom Sachs “Bricolage” is a match made in heaven.

Anyone else colour-coordinating sneakers with their selvedge?

Found this sweet shirt (from Boxlunch) that pairs real well with the Hedorah Selvedge. Loving the hedorahs and how quickly they’re fading.

I remember seeing these when released, and couldn’t find my size. The weft makes this almost have a brown/gold hue in the sun. Definitely a pair that needs to be seen in person to fully appreciate.
