Veggie for the wife

Thinking about the outline from the first album.

Not into lyric tattoos. Any other ideas?

Our builder left a 100mm vent for an extractor van, however we have decided that we don't want a massive cooker hood so I bought a slim profile kitchen fan.

The issue is that the 100mm fan is exactly the same size as the vent so won't slot in. In addition, the vent goes off at an angle after 40mm (even less if it was made flush with the wall) so most fans would be too deep to install here.

Any ideas? TIA.

The wife and I are sadly coming towards the end of 2 weeks in lovely Taiwan. Her cousin is marrying a fella from Taichung on Sunday and he sent me the wedding menu. I used to teach English in China so can speak quite well but can't read many characters.

Also if anyone has any opinions or experiences with these dishes feel free to share.

This village was the inspiration for the bath house in Spirited Away.

So beautiful and well worth a visit if you get the chance. It was quite busy around sunset but we stayed over so went out again after 8. The streets were quite deserted as most tourists must go on day trips.

If you do go either have dinner before 8 or get 7/11 snacks later as everything seems to close when the masses leave.

A mate left some at my bbq last weekend.

Pretty tasty tbf.

Had guests round and they all brought proteins.

Spicy South African sausage, chicken chipolatas, burgers, a range of chicken, pork and beef kebabs, lamb kofte, halloumi, home made guac, apple slaw and potato salad.

A few too many ciders for a Sunday...
