Why people says alts are dead but math says the opposite ? correct me if am wrong

Let's do the math together, boys, using the information we have. But first, let's look at the alt nerfs:

  • First: the Bound Gold changes.
  • Second: the reduction in Kinah based on play count.

January 28 , 2026 Patch notes

According to the previous images, playing alts for Exploration is a waste of time. However, if you have well-geared alts that can complete Transcendence and Conquests, you'll still be able to earn the maximum rewards from all of them.

Important Note: Claiming 2 Cubes in a single run with a subscription still counts as only 1 run (or 1 play count) toward the nerf.

************* Math Time *************

Ode energy = 40 Odyle

- 1 Alt = 840 Ode Energy Weekly

- 8 Ode energy per character weekly [Morph + Breeze Shop]

- 16 Ode energy per server

9 Alts X (840) + 8 Ode per alt X ( 9 Alts) + 16 Ode per server

= 9 X 840 + 8 X 9 X 40 + 16 X 40

Conclusion : 11080 Energy per week

************* How Many Runs per week *************

Remember: 1 run = 2 Cubes. Therefore, divide the total number of Cubes you can claim by 2 to determine how many runs you can complete.

- For a cube that cost 40 Energy 11080 energy / 40 = 277 Cubes

- Since we can claims 2 cubes per 1 run thanks to the subscription

227 Cube / 2 = 138.5

Conclusion : 138.5 Runs = 227 Cubes

************* Alts Homework *************

You can complete 138.5 runs per week

  • 84 Conquest runs at 100% Kinah
  • 56 Transcendence runs at 100% Kinah
  • Total: 140 runs
  • Even if u do all 138.5 runs On conquest you effectively earn 85.48% of total potential Kinah

Conclusion: You can complete a maximum of 140 runs, split between Conquest and Transcendence, while still earning 100% Kinah without any reduction.

************* Conclusion *************

Alts don't look dead to me at all. The only catch is that you need to prepare 9 alts, either through P2W or by investing a lot of time farming, so they're geared enough for Conquest, which doesn't have Bound Gold.

For some people, that may not seem reasonable or worth the effort, but it's still doable.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Cheers!

How Important Are Tanks, Healers, and Buffers in This Game?

Hey guys,

I played the Taiwan version for about a week at launch, but that's about it. I still don't have a clear understanding of how important these three roles are in the late endgame, especially in raids and with the new 5-player party change.

These are some questions I wish I had answers to before the global release:

(Endgame-focused questions only)

  • Between Chanter and Cleric, which one is generally more desired for endgame content? Which role gets invited more often for multi-alt "homework" runs?
  • Does having a Chanter noticeably speed up raid clears? Do DPS players genuinely appreciate and benefit from the buffs they provide?
  • Are healers/buffers highly valued when played well, or are they simply considered mandatory roles that every party needs?
  • Which class is considered the main tank?
  • How important is the tank role in raids? Is it a core requirement for most groups, or is it only necessary for specific encounters?
  • In failed or wiped runs, who usually receives more blame: the tank or the healer? In what situations? Which role generally carries more responsibility and pressure?
  • Between Cleric and Chanter, which benefits more from being overgeared beyond the minimum requirements, especially in ways that help the rest of the party?
  • How attractive is a Healer + Tank duo when forming groups? Do parties actively seek that combination, or does it not make much difference?
  • After the global release, at what stage of the game does Chanter become more of a luxury pick compared to Cleric? Or is that distinction present from early game all the way to endgame?
  • What advice would you give someone trying to choose between Healer and Tank, or between Cleric and Chanter, as their main role?

Ground Loot Equipment Doesn't Feel Worth Looting Anymore

With the introduction of:

  • 40% quality
  • Alloys
  • Special mods from socketed runes such as "Marksman," etc.
  • Special equipment from Breach
  • Breach-exclusive mods/jewelry
  • And many other crafting methods

The endgame has become almost entirely focused on crafting, even jewels.

I don't think i identify an amazing piece of equipment from ground loot anymore and have it actually be worth something, like in previous leagues.

Suggestion

Why not add exclusive mods that can only be obtained by identifying items found on the ground?

This would make loot drops exciting again for players who actively play the game and pick up items. Crafters likely wouldn't mind, since they can fracture almost anything anyway.

Now You have to divine your item before you vaal it , or just buy it max rolled to vaal it.

I like watching videos about a lot of other games, like Black Desert, Lost Ark, Old School RuneScape, gacha games, etc.
I’ve played most of them, and I enjoy playing them and watching their content.

However, whenever people talk about Aion 2, almost everyone says something like, “If this game survives more than 2–3 months, I’d be surprised.”
It feels like the MMORPG community has already accepted the reality that this game is almost guaranteed to flop on the global release.

I hope not though the game has potential i just hope it doesn't end up worse the lost ark so we play it long term assuming they fix monetization issue. we are starving for new MMOs man its sad to see
