2nd hand rescue Land Raider

Some people quit the hobby, others keep the light on. Took 2 evenings from start to finish, no airbrush.

My birthday present

My wonderful GF Has bought me a Repulsor! I couldnt wait to get my hands on it & this is the 1st time I have painted a vehicle entirely without and airbrush. With stippling it wasnt so bad and it took me about 3 evenings to complete

20 years ago, 40K tanks used to be janky and fragile, this one was pretty straight forward. I'm debating whether I should glue it permanently to the base or magnetize though.

Despite having multiple armies, I ve never collected space marines

Here is the 1st batch I painted. I think it's good enough. For now Im collecting without a rhyme or reason, but eventually I will set on some sort of coherent list

Involvement vs reward - Terra Preta

I'm thinking Terra Preta might not be worth it. I have 3 fields, total of 396 medium fertility tiles. For the next project I was thinking I could replace them with Terra Preta.

Then I saw the recipe.

16 compost for 2xTP. That means I would need 3168 compost.

There are probably mods to lower the costs or w/e but I must admit I am pretty shocked how brutal vanilla recipe is.
