Selling my 2022 MG GT Luxury. This is the highest "Full Option" trim (1.5L Turbo) and is a fantastic, fully loaded daily driver.

Condition & Service History:

Full Service History: All services done on time directly at the MG dealership.

Active Factory Warranty (Mostly): The car is still covered under the official MG factory warranty for the engine, AC, electronics, and body.

Full Disclosure (Transmission & Pricing):
There is an issue with the flywheel base in the transmission. Because of this, MG is not covering it, meaning the factory warranty for the transmission only is voided. The rest of the car's warranty remains completely active.

I am selling the car "as-is." Fixing the flywheel base at an independent garage will cost approximately 2,000 to 3,000 AED. The current market price for a clean 2022 MG GT Luxury is around 38,000 AED. I have heavily discounted my car to 31,000 AED to easily cover your repair costs while still giving you a great deal well under market value.

Important Note:
The car is currently under finance with ENBD. If you are planning to buy the car with cash, we will need to clear the remaining loan balance together at the bank before transferring ownership at RTA Tasjeel. If you are planning to finance the car then it should be fairly simple.

MG voided my transmission warranty over "rust" and quoted 12k AED. Car is still financed. What’s my best move?

So, here’s the backstory: I actually bought the car a couple of years ago knowing it had a flywheel base issue. MG was completely ready to replace it under warranty right then. But I was living in Abu Dhabi at the time, and they told me the repair could only be done at their Dubai service center and would take about two weeks. I didn’t have a substitute car or the time to deal with 2-week without a vehicle, so I just put it off and kept driving it.

Fast forward to now—I’m planning to sell the car, so I figured I’d finally take it into MG to get it checked out and cleared.

Upon checking, they told me they couldn’t even proceed to where the flywheel base is because there is visible rust around the outer area. Because of that rust, they immediately voided the entire transmission warranty, claiming it's environmental damage. They're saying that if they open it up, they are 100% sure the clutch pack and the flywheel base inside will be completely rusted out too. Then they dropped a casual 12,000 AED repair quote on me.

The car is still under finance with about 26,000 AED left on the bank loan. My original plan, before knowing any of this, was to sell it for around 32,000 AED, clear the loan with the buyer's cash. But with a 12k repair bill on the table, the math completely breaks down, and if I have to drop the price, I might end up having to pay out of pocket just to clear the loan and get rid of the car.

I don’t know much about cars, so I'm trying to figure out my best moves from here:

  1. Fix it at an independent garage? Does anyone know a genuinely reliable transmission/clutch specialist in Dubai or Sharjah who handles dual-clutch setups and won't rip me off? What am I realistically looking at cost-wise to get rust cleared and a clutch sorted outside the dealer?
  2. Sell it as-is? If I list it on Dubizzle, what do I actually legally need to disclose to avoid them coming after me later? And more importantly, how hard is it to find a private buyer willing to clear a 26k bank loan on a car that needs transmission work?
  3. Dump it at SellAnyCar/Kavak? Do these corporate buyers actually catch buried stuff like internal rust during their quick inspections? Even if they do, is it worth taking their lowball offer just to have them handle the bank loan paperwork so I can wash my hands of it?

Is there a way to get around Realstate Agents?

I am looking for a 3BHK townhouse in Damac Hills 2 for under 80k, I have done a couple of viewings and not once was the agent present, all they do is give the villa number and say that the key is somewhere near the entrance, yet I'm expected to pay them 5% of the rental value? They offer literally nothing so why must I pay their percentage cut? Does anyone have experience to get around this and talk to owners directly?

If there are any owners here who can offer it for 80k or less, please let me know

Any credit card offers strictly 3 month loan?

Looking for a credit card that offers 3 month loans if possible. Thing is I pay my rent/cheque by taking a loan on a credit card and turning it into an installment, but for all my credit they only allow for a minimum of 6 months. What I do then is take that 6 month installment and then close it after 3 months so that I can take another loan for the next cheque but I end up paying foreclosure fee all the time.

If anyone knows a credit card that offers strictly 3 months installment on loans please let me know

Where can I find Uniqlo quality tees in UAE?

Whenever I visit somewhere in Asia, Uniqlo is one of the first places I visit because the quality of their clothing is just amazing and somehow fits my body a lot better than other brands.

Unfortunately there is no Uniqlo here, and I've recently tried primark and the quality of their plain tees are just not that great so does anyone have any suggestions for clothing shops I can check out
