The last time we saw her was ch 380 where after her long, arduous, spiritual journey, she has finally reached Falconia in order to find Casca.

But she should know how dangerous this mission is.

She is literally entering the lion’s den since she’s aware of how much of a threat Griffith is even on a spiritual level considering how the first time we met her in the manga is her spying on Griffith via her luminous powers and mentioning how one little mistake would cause her to get lost in the astral world; effectively turning her into a vegetable.

And I sincerely doubt the trick with tapping her wand 7 times after 3 rounds on the floor would save her in this case since Griffith would act as a black hole for any radiant being that’s below his level.

Maybe Griffith knows this and is essentially using Casca as an alarm; transmitting spiritual energy to dull her emotions and has effectively made her into a diy security device which would go off if any force approaches.

Tl:dr schierke might not come back in the same state after this mission is finished regardless if it’s successful or not and Farnese will be the one who will be her successor and be one of the main factors in helping the Kushan against the Falcon of light
