Ghost call, literally?

I was working for a certain BPO company back then and one of the agents encountered a very disturbing call.

So, the customer was asking for a transfer PIN (Telco account btw), and usually, kapag ganitong concern, aabutin lang ng around 6–10 minutes kasi simple concern lang naman. Pero yung call na 'to umabot ng 1 hour and 30 minutes kasi una matanda na si customer so hirap sa pag gamit ng phone. Pangalawa, hindi makareceive ng one-time PIN si customer.

During the call, makwento si customer. He even mentioned na may book siya and that he likes reading books and stuff like that.

Then, around 20 minutes before the end of the call, biglang umiyak yung agent. Ayun pala, yung boses ng customer was exactly the same as the agent's voice. Parang naririnig niya yung sarili niyang boses, or parang sarili niya mismo yung kausap niya.

Since naririnig siguro ni customer na umiiyak na yung agent, sinabi daw niya:

"Are you crying because my voice is exactly the same as yours?"

Tapos since hndi nga makareceive ng text message si customer so ang advice is pumunta sa nearest store. ang sagot daw ni customer something like:

"I can’t go there because I’m already under the grave. That must be the reason why I can't receive the message as well.”

Tapos somehow, biglang nakareceive ng message si customer and na-generate na yung transfer PIN.
Pero biglang refused to give the PIN yung customer. Then sinabi niya sa agent with a very eerie voice:

"But I wanna say this. Always remember that Jesus loves you."

And then the customer hung up.

Pero eto yung mas nakakatakot.
Pinakinggan nila yung call recording kasi nga, base sa kwento ng agent, sobrang creepy talaga nung nangyari.
Sa first 10 minutes ng recording, rinig pa yung boses ng customer. Pero after that, wala na. As in wala. Rinig yung agent na parang may kausap siya, pero walang boses or response coming from the customer's end.
And then, somehow, narinig din sa recording yung last part ng conversation, specifically nung sinabi ng customer:
"Jesus loves you."

Also a week after the incident, naaksidente yung agent (Motorcycle accident.) Nag survive naman pero the agent was hospitalized for a few weeks if not months.

Internal Mobility

Hello, How’s the internal mobility sa ACN? I would be starting this aug 17 for a Tech support role. I have a degree in Political Science and would love to be able to use it. Is it possible to ask to be transferred to a legal related role after a year or so? Thank you po sa sasagot!

JP (BGC) OR ACCENTURE (Manda)?

Hi, 22M Fresh grad with 29 months of BPO Experience. I am torn between these 2 companies. I’m from Manda btw and I already have a daughter. I need your opinion kasi lahat talaga ng benefits nasa ACN (3days wfh, 2 days onsite, Proximity) but mas mauuna mag start yung jp while sa acn wala pang Job offer (But I did pass the final interview a week ago.) I really need work na and can’t be unemployed for too long.

Should I risked it and wait sa ACN and let go na si Jp or should I wait for now? I already accepted JP, did the PEME, and they even sent me the payroll card already. Nakaka pressure mag decide cause start date sa JP is approaching fast

Was I lowballed by JPMC?

I was recently hired by JPMC from BGC. And while I am happy to learn that I pass and all, I can’t help but feel like I’ve been lowballed. I was offered a basic pay of 23k. This is despite the fact that I have a bachelor’s degree and I have over 2 years of BPO experience. I accepted the offer but I’ve been reading here sa reddit, and can’t help but feel like they lowballed me hard. Should I continue?
