Ik I am kind of turning off the mood par I wanted to ask this considering woh abhi nahi hai par kuch toh catch hoga na? Itni asaani se sab hojayega kya? Or am I being to stressed out?

And I kind of realized the awkwardness Jeet had while the entire cake cutting was happening. Mere bhai ne shayad hi zindagi mein cake kaatne ka socha hoga aur kabhi socha bhi toh bohot pehle socha hoga. This is why I feel he was a bit awkward while doing the entire cake cutting thing and that giving Saumya a piece of the cake. Because maybe he hasn't had that experience as much as normally we do so.

I always find it to be heartbreaking and bittersweet when I see Saumya and Jeet experience normalcy in life. Be it Jeet's cake cutting or Saumya dancing. Dono ko woh jo small joys of life hai woh shayad hi kisine di hongi. Jeet had his Nani and mother till a certain age but society's harshness might have made him grow faster than he would have wanted which means his childhood wouldn't have been as happening as normal healthy childhoods are. Uspe Saumya until she was of a certain age had that childhood but then it was snatched away from her cruelly and trodden upon. The fact that even now my girl is considered a burden or vehemently shouted at because who cares about what Saumya feels. Seriously apart from Jeet who the eff even bothers?

That'd hurt less than whatever this was...my boy doesn't deserve this

Also...we finally get to know Jeet's mother is not alive

Valentine's day se zyada pyaar ke variations meine iss episode dekh liya. And no this is not about Kreet or Krisha ka triangle [Though I agree Kreet has some next level chemistry damn]

Love is a very complex subject. It can be familial or romantic or platonic.

Anoop and Saumya pe aate hai. Anoop's love is conditional in my opinion. He smiles when she acts like he expects her to and dismisses her when she doesn't. Strangely it just feels like his love is for the mould that he believes his daughter should be in. Warna nahi. Saumya's on the other hand is blind devotion to the point ki Papa ki khushi mein jo hoga woh karegi. Which is equally unhealthy. For her, uske papa kuch galat kar hi nahi sakte. And that isn't the best.

Krish is the antithesis to all the Mathurs when it comes to love for Saumya. Unlike all of them, he realizes who is the Prayagraj ka sabse achha ladka for his sister. For he realizes who is actually good for his sister. However, he'd not force her like papa would. He'd wait, he'd support, he'd protect Saumya in his own way.

Hridhaan's love is worshipful too. To the point where he puts Saumya on a pedestal and sees her in his own way. His is intense man. However Hridhaan's love is confusing to me. Somewhere it is beautiful but sometimes it feels so intense ki darr lage. Uspe he also doesn't see beyond his own image of Saumya, which hinders him from truly realizing the depth of Saumya and her emotions.

Jeet doesn't love Saumya romantically, but his feelings for Saumya as a platonic partner is deep af. He realizes it in minutes when Saumya requires a gentle touch, a firm push or even a playful banter. Yes maybe he mightn't be successful at times par that bond that they have? She doesn't need to say, uss bande ko samajhta hai. And idhar Jeet is the antithesis to all who 'love' and 'know' her for years. Because usse saal bhi hua nahi Saumya ko jaante and still he can literally understand what she is going through.

Dadi's love is mixed with guilt and I assume fear? Whenever she is with Jeet she has a guilt and hoga bhi kyu nahi...aakhir unka bhi somewhere haath hai in how Jeet's life has shaped. She loves but restrict hoke.

Neeta's love for Hridhaan is obsessive to me. To the point I believe she will destroy anyone who does come between Hridhaan and his happiness. And damn that is scary to me. I wonder Hridhaan apni maa pe gaya hai kya.

In the end, Krish and Jeet are the best; baat khatam.

Pehle toh, gosh this was a bit anger-inducing.

Firstly, Roop apni puri Mahabharat Ramayan bol deta hai and Anoop bas barf ki tarah jama rahega. I can still get Madhu and Taiji not being able to speak up. Theek hai. But Anoop? Tere munh main konsi dahi jami hai? And also Madhu rok rahi hai toh tu ruk bhi gaya? DUDE THAT MAN IS YOUR DAUGHTER'S WORST NIGHTMARE.

Why is it that the youngest of the family, Krish has to be the protector. Look at him, itne smoothly he made Roop not be part of the puja. See him? So called Samaj ko bhi handle kardiya aur apni behen ko bhi bacha diya.

And Jeet. Anoop wtf. Banda theek kar raha hai na palna. Usme bhi tujhe issue hai. You are such an annoying character. And yeh Sarthak bhi...arey achhe se hi theek karega na. Jeet gave good to all of these people. And his statement of how much they have put upon Saumya and how uske bojh tale she cannot continue sustain. EXACTLY. Let my girl live yaar. Krish here also asking right questions, madat chaiye ki nahi.

Good on Hridhaan and Jeet from protecting Saumya. I love their brotherhood so this entire sequence was nice for me. Dadi is finally becoming more firm in her support for Jeet. She ain't my favourite but honestly I will accept her. Also, Saumya singing on her own, this was beautiful. My girl is healing. And her singing is not connected to Roop. It is connected to herself.

Lastly PRECAP IS MY FAVOURITE!! Bring Kabir Khan wala Hridhaan!!! And Saumya my girl learning hockey?? I'd love if she starts liking it in true sense and fgs her family doesn't stop her from being free. Lastly, WE FINALLY ARE SEEING THE COLLEGE AGAIN!!!

I know yeh hum discuss karte hai and well quite often we have realized it but I am always sad whenever I think of this.

Saumya has many well-wishers not gonna lie. Be it her mother be it her best friend par Krish ke alawa sirf ek Jeet hai jo sachme uske liye sochta hai. In the entire arc of shaadi he is the only one who constantly asked for her comfort and her happiness. While Anoop wants her to marry and Jeet wants her to be happy. My girl has many in her life but still is lonely. She has so many but still sees Jeet as her support system. Uska udhar uske saamne rehna is quite important to her.

Jeet. Yaar I really feel for him. He has no one apart from his Naani and Saumya. Green flag hai, topper hai aur strong hai. Par akela hai. No one has seen his pain and how he tries to soothe it apart from Saumya. And I think that does affect him. Saumya's subtle observations and understanding speak a lot louder than anything could have. Itna akela hai ki umeed karna chod chuka tha. Par dard bhi utna hai and finally someone saw it.

Both of them have been hurt by the elders in their lives. Both have bottled up inside them so much. Both found eachother at the right time. They are healing in eachother something that either didn't break. I love that about them.

Firstly, for the bit of progress that Madhu and Taiji showed I would give them some props. Remembering that she needs time to finally be able to be comfortable with a man's touch. However, I still am a bit annoyed they continue to ask for the marriage thing. In the end, I understand these women are flawed but they do want to try help Saumya as much as they can.

Coming to Jeet and Saumya. My bbg is now so comfortable to ask things from her Jeet sir for herself. Uff. She agreed his presence infront of her helps her counter any issues and she asks him to always be infront of her. This scene however also showed Saumya not being comfortable trying to initiate touch and especially with someone she trusts wholeheartedly. That scene highlights how deep her trauma is. It doesn't matter Jeet ko woh itna trust karti hai, she still cannot find it in her to go through it. Toh Sarthak se woh kaise kar payegi? Also, I loved how much they trust eachother.

Anoop continues to be an idiot. Roop kuch bhi kahe chalega and Anoop's own judgemental nature doesn't go away. I felt so effing bad for Jeet when he literally asked him to not be there during the Janmashtami function. Like when he was trying to do it subtly, Jeet did understand it was him not wanting him. And woh cheez aisi hai jo Jeet ne bohot baar samjhi hai. He has been considered unwanted by his own father toh it made me more emotional tbh.

I'd be honest, I am so annoyed looking at Roop constantly having the upper hand and the amount of praise he gets ki wah wah kya bhagya hai baki sab ka ki Roop unke ghar mein hai. Ugh. Also Hridhaan good call. Neet not the best time to speak about your bete ka rishta. Should have really done it pehle hi.

The last scene also my most favourite scene of this episode. You know, I am not sure if it was conscious but Jeet saying kon dulha kon dulhan dono ek hi lag rahe hai somewhere made me wonder if Sarthak is that type of a person who wishes to mould his wife as per what he believes she should be? Ki Saumya will have to change so much ki uska astitva hi nahi rahega and thus her identity shall only be that of Sarthak? Idk but somewhere I wondered if that could be the meaning. Also Jeet bichara, Saumya has already asked ki woh door na jaaye aur baap aise ki keh dala hai door chale jaa. Dharamsankat 101.

Samay ka pahiya kisi ke liye nahi rukta. Agar tum ruk gaye toh tumhe chodke chala jata hai.

For me this episode highlighted why time is necessary [Sarthak ji ka time management did not give me motivation lol]

Firstly Saumya, she needs time for herself. To re-ignite her own fire that got extinguished by a monster. She needs time to heal. Because how do you expect her to understand the idea of intimacy when she cannot even be free from the shadow of her perpetrator? How do you Madhu expect your girl to get justice and find it in herself to become open and free like a bird?

Madhu and Anoop. Na dono samay ke saath chalna seekhe hai na samay se koi kaam karna. Both in their log kya kahenge mindset did not realize their child requires time. Did not understand how wanting her to marry after revealing such an important aspect of her life she'd definitely not be alright. Ladki ko samay diya hi kab tumsab ne?

Hridhaan. I will not dismiss his feelings like Sanjeev. Hridhaan's emotions are deeper than what Sanjeev believes. Do I believe that means he should have his love fulfilled? No because uske emotions mein understanding aayi hi nahi. However, yeh aadmi bhi samay se nahi chalta. He knows Saumya has been getting rishtas. Bhai obviously kabhi na kabhi toh rishta pakka hoga na. You took so much time to make a move. Seriously Hridhaan. And no, I am not saying after revelation. Uske baad toh nahi karna chaiye. But before that toh you could have been firm in your move.

Krish ka sahi hai. Never should love be realized so late that it becomes a right person at wrong time situation. Itna bhi samay na lagao ki jo mohabbat muqammal ho sakti thi woh na ho.

PS: Bhai woh malpua tha? I though aam papad tha. Also Sarthak se rishta todna hai toh just don't come at the mahurat time. Banda itna time ka pakka hai shaadi hi na kare. Though his words were creepy today when Krish tried to explain how Saumya hasn't had much contact with men.

Yes, we had the Saxena couple ruining nonsense. Hridhaan ka ek tarfa pyaar. But goddamn we also had Saumya Jeet's banter and such fun banter lol.

Firstly that scene about Saumya wanting a man like her father [behen nahi chaiye aisa aadmi sorry] and Jeet being sarcastic about how that type of a man would be lol.

Uske baad that rangoli scene. MY GIRL IS SO FREE NOW. She'd have never called him cute pehle but now she openly did that. And bhai Jeet tera kya reputation. Sab jaante hai tera reputation. Tujhse zyada danger toh Hridhaan lagta hai. Also Jeet's remark to Neeta was equally funny. That's our Jeet, the one who gives sarcastic remarks to anyone who tries to put him down.

And lastly, we got our dupatta se bike pochna scene!! Lol I loved how Saumya was so offended by how chill Jeet was about dirtying her dupatta. And pehli baar dupatta atakne wala scene has happened when the ML and FL's father have the dupatta not when FL has it lol. They really subvert the usual tropes.

PS: However, there were so annoying scenes. My most annoying was Anoop leaving when Saumya started to speak. No father who loves his child should do that. What type of idea are you perpetuating to your child? And another is the Sanjeev and Hridhaan one. Gosh Sanjeev is like meri shaadi kharab hui, mein kisi ko achhi love life rakhne na do. In my eyes Sanjeev is the worst of all.

The entire discussion over Shakkar ke Paranthe was a favourite of mine

I loved this scene. It just was such a wholesome one in my opinion. I do wish for Jeet to become a part of Mathur family while Anoop and Madhu progressing and learning that their way of life is not what is good for their children.

I am really hoping for some good bonding between Jeet and Madhu and also more of Jeet raising Anoop's BP. Doctor sahab ko mariz yahi banda banayega

I loved the symbolism of Saumya leaving her cage. Uff that part of the episode for me was as aesthetically pleasing as the one with Jeet and Saumya on the terrace.

The cage represents her stolen childhood and the silence that is forced upon her by her own loved ones while the open door symbolizes the support of Jeet, a man whom she hasn't known for a long time. And I love it.

However, I was watching the episode and realized that there are others in her family also have their own cages.

Anoop Mathur, a successful doctor as far as I know and also a man who loves his children is caged by his own judgmental and orthodox ideas. His quick to assume and stubborn mentality cages Anoop in a way that never let's him see the truth of Jeet being an actually good individual. The fact that he still did the same thing that Jeet advised him not to. Act in one manner while feel something other.

Madhu Mathur is caged by the expectations of society from her and her daughter. For her, the issue of izzat is the cage from which she cannot be freed and support her daughter in her healing journey.

I wanted some Harry fics. I prefer the pairing to be from the students of his era itself. The rarer the better. I would take Harry with anyone.

Life has been tough lately and thus want something soft and healing. I don't mind angst if I get a proper chunk of Harry healing and his partner helping him in his journey. Like some tragedy has happened and Harry is coming out of it.

PS: Would prefer no bashing of Romione or Weasley family.

I know my account is new and that some subreddits have restrictions regarding who all can post there, however in the subreddits where there exists no restrictions like these, I tried making a post however it said that it was removed from Reddit's filters.

Can anyone explain why is it so? Does this mean that even in subreddit with low restrictions, there needs to be certain level of karma before you can post?
