Dumping a couple boxes of dimes and teller states she has something interesting that she saved for me. 35 rolls of wheaties which included just about every year, 30 steelies, and a beautiful Indian head. Great day!!

Asked for misc. customer rolls on Friday. The old penny rolls are apparently the remainder of what I had previously gathered from other tellers at that branch. 1959 D and 1960 D. One of the customer rolls had a sweet score (pictured)! Lots of wheaties too.
Third or fourth time this year. Using up that paper!
Swapped out a penny box yesterday. Looks like we picked the right day! Some standouts pictured in addition to 237 wheaties!
Was waiting for my turn with the teller and saw this note in the hand of the guy ahead of me. Apparently he tried to deposit two of these into the ATM but this one was rejected twice so he deposited with the teller. Not until I was back outside did I even look at the date or notice the star. Super exciting!
Ready for the weekend! Also scored another 51 Eisenhower‘s. All clad but that’s fine. Went an entire year without a single piece, only to collect 91 pieces this week alone. Happy hunting.
Me: Do you have anything interesting back there today?
Teller: Nope, just this single 1996 half dollar and this handful of small dollar coins.
Me: I’ll pass, but thanks.
Teller: Oh, and these two rolls of large dollars!
Me: Really?!! SOLD!!
Can’t wait for my kids to open them this evening. Silver or not, they are going to be super stoked!! We’ve been asking, without any luck, forever. I’ll update.

My first machine wrapped Liberty!! Was super excited to follow it up with 2 Benji’s in the same box.
The ‘68 was an ender and the only score in box #2.
7 keeper dimes from box #1. The remaining 4 from box #2 in the first 4 rolls searched.

Thousands upon thousands of cents searched and a $19 rolls grab 15 minutes before the bank closed today hit!! Haven’t had one of these in my hands since I was a kid digging in the garden.
Almost missed this beauty. Good thing I triple scan! My oldest CRH dime to date and 2nd Barber in 57 days.

The boxes show the mess of mixed rolls picked up today.
Well, I pulled three pieces from two boxes this weekend but scored 3 rolls from one bank stop at lunch today!! I’ve had such I run of luck lately it’s beginning to make me a little nervous.
Edit: Apparently I posted prematurely. I picked up a bunch of nickel rolls too but all the writing appeared to show 60’s and 70’s. My kids just pulled out 3 rolls of silver and a roll of 🦬!

Just stopped by a branch to swap rolls and asked if they had any halves. “I have two rolls but they are from a known collector.” I took that to mean they were likely searched, but picked them up anyway to use as replacements for box hunts. What never crossed my mind was that the collector dropped full rolls of silver!!!
Still can’t believe it.
Stopped by a branch at lunch to deposit my weekend hunt boxes and while I was there, the person next to me was dropping off grandpa‘s pennies, along with three rolls of nickels and two rolls of quarters (all uncirc. bicentennial). The teller, knowing me as a regular, made eye contact with me immediately and offered the rolls. Many of the coins in these roles are in absolutely fabulous condition.
I asked if they had a box of pennies that I could swap out and was directed to a nearby branch where there was a box on hand. When I arrived, they actually had two boxes from a different grandpa that they had planned on shipping out because of the irregularity of the roles. Needless to say, I grabbed them as well as a box of nickels and dimes that are mixed old and new.
It’s been several hours now and I can still feel my heart racing! I honestly don’t even know where to begin. Oh, and there is word that grandpa‘s half dollars are being rolled for deposit at the first bank. I was given the wink!

I travel a fair amount for work and pick up rolls to pass the time in the hotel. Called ahead to order two boxes of halves for my stay in Houston and both boxes are 2026. I guess I”ll keep a few for the kids and dump the rest. I was really looking forward to these out of area boxes too.
