Opened my tea bins to air them out as I do every few days and went to grab this raw cake to brew and saw this. Its the only cake with his on it. It doesnt really rub off when I scrape it witb my finger nail.

I got this brand new Nahvalur Fathom pride pen today. I got it loaded up with Birmingham ink Comapny's Lightning Twinkle. It wrote for a bit and then just stop. It hard started and skipped and now nothing. I check and the breathing hole is massively out of line with the tines. The plunger doesnt always line up when depressing it causing nothing to flow in. I got some close ups of the nib. Is this a return situation? I am currently cleaning it and flushing to try diamine kopi o kaw ink to see if the other ink was the problem
Edit to add i did slightly unscrew the know to allow ink to flow into the feed and still nothing. Ink flowed into the feed and It still didnt write

I bought this book and ot had a section on pickling. They had pickled rainbow carrots but the recipe calls for white vinegar 5 percent acidity. Can I use apple cider vinegar instead if its the same acidity?
