Was sagt ihr dazu?

Will the Isshokai Arc end in 2026?

Without a surprising author break, there are 12 more chapters this year.

Also, what do yall think will be the next arc? Probably a training arc right?

Just found this band

Damn, they are insanely good, there is no better feeling then finding a new band thats your vibe and then listening to all there hits and albums for the first time.

Im kinda ashamed that I didnt knew them before, Im more so in the Heavy Metal / Thrash Metal bubble but still.

Epitaph gave me November Rain vibes and Starless is just a masterpiece! I may update this when Im through most albums.

Zverev could be Number 1 and a two time Slam winner at the end of this year.

Kinda crazy, isnt it? But I doubt that Sinner will be out for that long or that he will play bad on the Asia Tour.

Edit: ffs don’t downvote me for facts lol

Edit2: I know yall have a 0% tolerance policy for Zverev on this sub and thats fair and understandable but I still respect his game. (not today tho that was mostly awful)

The new artbook

I just wanted to say, do not buy the Limited Edition for 150-200$, its not worth it at all. It only contains the 9 lithograph artworks and photographs from the exhibitions, around ~100 pages.

Dont get me wrong, I love it and I don’t regret it but its way to overpriced, you can get the JOJOVELLER Limited Edition for that money.

If you want that artbook, wait for the normal edition that will come out January 2027.

Standard length for successful (battle) shonen.

First of all, this is truly subjective and because all my favorite manga are very long (JoJo, Baki, OP, HxH..) I may be biased, but:

I kinda hate that the new standard length is around 250-300 chapters. Blue Box ended with 250
chapters , CSM ended with 232 chapters, Sakamoto Days and Witch Watch will probably both end before the 300s as well.

Its getting predictable at this point which should never be the case. „Oh its nearing 30 volumes? Yeah its about to end“.

My hope lies in Akane Banashi and Ichi the Witch to get atleast to the 400s without having trouble with the pacing. Not only because I want longer manga but also to prove that very long shonen still work nowadays.

Im not asking for just more quantity, Im asking for different lengths and something I can follow 10 years, not just 5.

How many chapters is this manga gonna have?

In my opinion, atleast 400, probably even more. I hope for as much as possible and more focus on side characters like right now.

But, nowadays, its really rare for a manga to surpass 200-300 chapters, even recent hits ended in that span.

New batches?

So, Kinato and DttF got axed and we got 2 new series for that, so far so good. But, HxH is going on Hiatus and Sakamoto Days ends very soon (2-10 chapters).

Will they go with 19 or 18 series for a while? Or am I missing something? Because that seems unusual and unlikely.

And before someone mentiones Bleach, the leak was months ago and I doubt that it will happen before the anime ends if at all this year.

New photo of Kei Urana and Hideyoshi Aru (August 2026)

The comment from the man in the middle (Ryota Kamiya) on his instagram post:

Grateful for this connection!

On our final day of pre-open, Urana-sensei and Hideyoshi sensei came to visit us.

It was truly a special time - one I cant quite put into words. We‘ll keep working hard, day by day, so we can welcome you back with even better food and service.

Thanks you so much for visiting during your busy days!

Araki‘s favorite artists (2026)

Velazquez is a cool choice because for those who dont know, he is called „the painter of the painters“ because of his incredible technique. Most art critiques consider him to be the best artist when it comes to pure technique.

Michelangelo is an obvious choice but Im surprised he didnt said Gauguin.

OP-17 Price

Hey guys,

Im new in the TCG, tho as a diehard Baki Fan, I need that card. Now my question is, will this card even be affordable?

Or will it likely be 1000$+?

If this is not allowed to ask, my bad. And yeah I know you guys can only predict, it would still help.

Edit: Thanks for all the replies, lets all hope for the best. Tho, one thing, why the fuck do so many people find this card ugly?! Its badass and Kaido is basically a Baki character.

Itagaki is insanely good, please look up some Baki panels.
