Visual migraine symptoms

Do you lovely people ever get visual symptoms with migraines? I feel like I see stars and feel a bit dizzy. I also get migraines in my eyes, temples, and lately my jaw and side of head. (I’m not having a stroke don’t worry!). It’s been so weird.

Alternatives for water?

Hello all! I was wondering if you guys had alternatives to water like flavor packets and such? I don’t really like coconut but I really need to stay hydrated lately but I’m so bad about regular water. What’s your favorite ways to drink water or other juices? Somethings that’s not bad with reflux?

A question.

Is there a NSFW option for pics in this group? the amount of crazy throats, lower regions, poop, and other stuff I’ve straight up just seen with no NSFW is INSANE 😭🫪 can we figure that out LOL

Got an iron infusion!

Hello all! Today I got the iron dextran (infed) 1,000mg flushed with saline. The whole thing took about 5 hours and honestly? It wasn’t bad at all. Nothing happened to me. I think my heart is actually a bit happy because when I was sleeping it was actually relaxed and under 60BPM. They did an initial test dose over 30minutes and then waited another 30min to see reactions. I had none. I was not dizzy, I did not feel like I couldn’t breathe, and I was checked on constantly. I know everyone won’t respond like this BUT just remember you will constantly be checked on and supported. I did it at an oncology infusion center. If anyone has questions, let me know. I took a nap for six hours after and I’m feeling totally fine so far.

Controlled Strabismus

Does anyone here have controlled strabismus? I have strabismus in my left eye and it gets worse with close screens and dry eye and such but I had it checked and of course they were worried about a brain tumor but ruled it out. My eye does stray sometimes but I can normally control it. Is it like this for anyone else?

Also, does anyone find with their eye that strays, I feel like it sees cooler tones sometimes than my other eye. Especially in very bright lights. It will usually fix itself after a few minutes.

TYIA!

Chubby Frog!

Got this little lady/guy yesterday! He was 10$ and literally looked dead in the cup. I was like wtf. So I got him because I still had my ten gallon from when I lost my tomato frog a few months ago. He’s cute! Seems very tired and stressed but granted I would be too if I was in a cup for hours and I don’t know his previous living conditions or even how old he is. His name is kielbasa! Any tips? :)

New to this

Hello. My doctor highly suspects I have Crohn’s (definitely GERD and IBS) but the last few months I’ve had the worst stomach pains and even losing weight. My calprotectin was 341. Next step is a colonoscopy and endoscopy for final results. He gave me Bentyl and that didn’t work. He wants to try a steroid but only gave me a few days worth because he wants GI to see me while the issues are present so I don’t want to take them. Any advice? I can barely go to work and have been bed rotting for a week with my heating pad turned high. I also have absorption issues and anemia. I have the roughest pains in mostly my left stomach going to my back, left breast and esophagus, and bad bloating. Ugh. Sending hugs to people who have this. Any tips?

I also have constipation issues.

I used to hold in my poop.

When I was younger (like middle school and younger over ten years ago) I used to hold in my poop. I refused to do it in public ANYWHERE. so I’d cross my legs, go through the motions, and nothing would come out and I’d feel better (hold it in). I stg maybe this is the start of all my constipation issues 😭😂 did anyone else do this shit?
It probably also didn’t help that I was a preemie and my doctor a few years ago said “do you do a*** s**? You have very weak a*** muscles). No sir. I do not. Adding stars bc I know younger people are in here.

Also, I’ve been taking MiraLAX (an off brand of course) consistently for about two weeks now once a day and eating no bread. My stools have definitely started to soften and are coming out much easier and more frequently.

Bentyl

Does anyone take the medication Bentyl if you have stomach spasms/ really bad stomach pains? My doctor was prescribed it until I can get my double scope. I really need some relief and was wondering if anyone else had like crampy, sharp stomach issues?

New to this thread!

Hello! I’ve been a chronic constipation sufferer for years. I’m 25F. I had to go to the ER yesterday because I was having severe episodes of stomach and left sided pain. I did not think it was constipation. Guess what? It was! And dehydration. I also have GERD, IBS, and a kidney stone that looooves to stick around. (Had for YEARS. even got a shockwave. Still there!). Got a CT yesterday and showed moderate constipation. I swear I’m done eating I’m fr just about to eat puréed baby food 🤣 I seriously just ordered some.

Also; they have me that wonderful drink that tastes like lemons. Just finished the second half now! Literally had to wear a diaper to bed.
