Skybound announces NYCC panel for Energon Universe on Saturday October 10 in Room 406.2
Yes, another year in the small room, which probably means no show information. Try in 2027.

The Micronauts.
I am…conflicted. Especially after Hasbro saw fit to trash a completed Micronauts cartoon with A-list voice actors and D-list animation without ever letting it see the light of day.
Highlights include talking about making the LCS experience more special, Major Medusa originating from “What if we gave Cobra Commander a girlfriend?”. (Although it feels like his own Kallen for anyone who’s familiar with Code Geass) and Kirkman putting his foot down on making “T-Bob look like an egg.”
After last issue's cliffhanger, the blow-up everyone expected is here.
Also, SNAKE suits, which, like MASK vehicles, will probably be re-contextualized as early attempts at copying Cybertronian tech.
First things first, the news is no news. There is no scheduled panel for Voltron’s movie at San Diego Comic Con. Prime Video’s panel is specifically advertised as featuring Rings of Power, Blade Runner 2099, and other non-Voltron things.
With that out of the way, we switch from news to discussion and speculation. The next two big conventions that might have news on the Voltron movie are both in October, and this year straight up overlap - New York Comic Con and VoltCon. While NYCC is the far bigger convention (arguably second only to SDCC) VoltCon has been the home for news on Voltron over the past few years, including the announcement two years ago for when filming was going to begin.
Is it possible to do a simulcast? Do an NYCC panel on Thursday or Friday before bolting back to VoltCon for the weekend? Or if not, will Bob be forced to choose between NYCC (where Amazon MGM/Prime Video will assuredly have a presence) and the much smaller VoltCon?
Keep in mind the second part is speculation, not news. But with no panel at SDCC, and the film targeted for 2027 release, October makes a lot of sense for a big panel and trailer reveal.
Basically everything did numbers EXCEPT Void Rivals.

The biggest Robert Kirkman panel yet. From Invincible to the newest superhero series Terminal, to Void Rivals and an expanding vision for Transformers in Skybound and Hasbro's Energon Universe, Robert Kirkman pulls back the curtain on it all. Behind-the-scenes stories, exclusive reveals, and surprises are part of the program.

So…not a big room. That said we may get a dedicated EU panel later during SDCC.
Watters and Parr sit down to discuss the upcoming M.A.S.K. launch, and discuss cars, updating designs, and Hasbro still being mostly hands off, with a philosophy of “We’ll know we like it when we see it.”
A reprint will be hitting comic shops July 8, the same day as MASK #2. With new covers.
OK, so the leaks happened, and everyone is (rightfully) upset. But something that isn't being mentioned as much is the financial hit that said leaks will result in. While I can't speak to the general situation, I can report that several people have claimed that theaters have canceled showtimes due to mass refunds being requested. Looking at the app for my local theater, while there are still a lot of screentimes, most of them went from being nearly full two weeks ago to mostly empty, save one or two that still are full. And that's on a Saturday. I see screentimes being canceled if more refunds come in.
So are these isolated incidents, or is this part of a greater trend of refunds being requested?
Transformers and Joe continue to do strong against the irresistible force of Absolute DC as we approach the launch of M.A.S.K.
There’s no getting around it. Everyone seems to have unanimously rejected the Robert Kirkman run on Transformers, along with unanimously rejecting Jason Howard’s art. The reasons are numerous (Elita Prime, the rushed nature of his first arc due to it being overstuffed, the fact that thanks to Invincible’s production he seems to have burned through any and all goodwill, enthusiasm, and benefit of the doubt) but the fact is that everyone seems to hate what he’s making and will not give it a chance by default, including really bizarre and slanderous comparisons to Charlie Kirk (?!) from Twitter.
With that said, finding a new artist and a new writer takes time. And while Kirkman in an interview with Rob Liefeld said he wanted to write the book (and have Howard on art) for the long term, that does not seem to be a wise move. Realistically, with talent availability being what it is, not to mention how long it takes to write a comic and have it approved, how long would it realistically take to get a new creative team to take over? Is it realistic? Or are all the complaints ultimately falling on deaf ears?

Also a Baroness and Duke cover that once again has me hoping the EU show isn’t done by the Invincible animators.
