Scooped up this certina ds action diver 38mm a day before my trip to Ireland for a wedding. I’ve never had anything exceeding a Tudor ranger or a hammy, but for $960 I am blown away at the quality and timekeeping of this one. I’m looking at other alternative colors/materials for a second for work. Looks great on a rubber, leather or steel and fits my 6 1/4” wrist perfectly. Anyone else absolutely love these?

Cold Steel Recon 1: Magnacut edition, manufactured in Italy. Cut a few pieces of paper, some slight markings towards tip (see photo) and a small spec on pocket clip. Razor sharp first owner.

Through out my watch journey I’ve spent thousands on Casios, Timex, random micro brands, etc. My most expensive being a Longines manual wind vintage 14k tank. Picked this up walking through Walmart and I feel like I’ve gone full circle. This 35mm Timex easy reader is giving grandpa vibes and I love it. The indiglo and easy to read face coupled with the price is next level. I threw on a cheap Amazon strap and I’ll be rocking this every day on the construction site. Sometimes simplicity is best and we over complicate things when it comes to collecting.
