What would be a fair price to list this GEC for? (NOT SELLING)

I never really got around to carrying this GEC, as I felt it was a little too small for my liking. What would be a fair price to list it for on seller sites without crossing into scalper territory?

(NOTE: NOT SELLING THIS HERE MODS)

NFA Court Ruling SBR Question

If I bought a pistol lower from PSA, and am a GOA member, I can get a 14.5 unpinned/unwelded upper and attach it right? Afaik you only need the form 4 still if you're purchasing a complete SBR/SBS, not if you're reconfiguring.

Plane ticket confirmation question

Was looking over my plane ticket confirmation (the one you show to the check in desk for your ticket) for 2nd reg basic camp, but it only seemed to include the flight to Knox, and I didn't see anything about a return flight. Will I have to pay for the return flight out of pocket, or is it all included in this confirmation?

PSA Question

Don't remember where I saw it, but did Danny confirm if parts such as uppers, stripped lowers, triggers, etc, were still good to go even after the deadline?

Basic Camp schedule question for 2nd Regiment

Shipping out to 2nd Regiment basic camp soon, just wondering if there is a schedule for it that I can find somewhere, or if it's something I need to ask my program for.

Private transfer question

My old man is moving to VA. He has a non NFA other, a mossberg 500, and 1911 that he wants to transfer to me. If we wanted to do a private sale, and he goes to switch his license immediately to a VA license, is he considered a resident right away for this, or does he need to live in the state for longer to be considered a resident for private sale/gift?

Also, is it the same case for gifting, or does he also need to be a resident?

Basic Camp Questions

Shipping later this month for 2nd Reg Basic Camp, got a few questions.

1.) I keep hearing stories about bags/rucks getting lost- how often does this happen? What info should I put down on a tag so they know where to send it if it does occur?

2.) If I put some of my equipment like my ACH, TAPS, etc, into duffle bags, will TSA open to inspect these items after I check them? Should I put a lock with tamper tape on my bags, or will TSA leave them alone for the most part?

3.) For tick and insect repellent, I was thinking about treating my newly purchased OCP's by dunking them and saturating them in permethrin spray (Sawyer). Any advice on if this is good/bad, or treating my uniforms and equipment?

4.) I was issued a TAPS, but I purchased my own so I wouldn't have to worry about dirtying or damaging the issued rig (CIF sounds like a pain). I made a few modifications to the magazine retention bands on the one I purchased by replacing them with bungee cord pull tabs and upgrading the harness, but other than that, everything else is normal. Should I bring both and ask for clarity on which one to use, or is it all cadre dependant on what they allow? Also, is there a SOP on how to set up the rig with pouches/canteens, and can I have an admin pouch?

5.) For basic camp, is there an FTX? How long is it, what does it cover, and do you camp out overnight with sleep systems?

6.) What do weekends usually look like? Will there be time allowed to do supplemental PT, study, catch up on sleep, etc?

Stripped lower question

If I'm purchasing the PSA 3 pack of stripped lowers and have it shipped to the FFL, is it considered purchasing 3 separate firearms, and requires 3 separate background checks, or is it lumped into one, and I only need to conduct one? This is mostly regarding if there are any limits on how many stripped lowers I can purchase at once.

Some perspective and advice from a dude who used to live in an anti-gun ban state

For context, used to live in CT before moving down here for school and now work. With all the BS about to take effect, just wanted to provide some of my perspective and advice on living during a ban period.

1.) I understand the need to be buying all the things you want before the ban hits, but you also need to be realistic about how you're spending your money. Don't go thousands of dollars into debt just because you want one more thing. Think- do you really need it when compared to this other gun? You can probably live without one more AR or SP5, but you cannot live without sufficient savings. In my experience coming from an anti-gun state, it is far more valuable to be stocking up on magazines, as I believe it is more important how many rounds your gun can hold at one time, and be able to put down range. You have a life beyond guns, and many of you probably have families to feed. Guns are important, but a loving family comes first above all.

2.) Building off of my first point, the thing about anti-gun states is that it breeds innovation. Companies obviously still want your business even in those states, and they will and have come out with many innovations to get around those stupid bans. This law is so poorly written that there are countless ways around it. And remember, what you don't speak of, as far as anyone is concerned, doesn't exist. Virginia is a large state, and the majority of this state probably won't be complying or enforcing the law- it's simply too large and impractical to even attempt in the way you think.

3.) Stay calm, stay reasonable. Even when these laws take effect, the world keeps on turning, and so will you. Persuade, change, and influence on the local level, and compound small victories into momentum against the greater tyranny. These laws do not mean the end, but only what I hope is the beginning of a more focused effort to protect our rights. These laws are the consequence of our own inability to expand our community, so we'll take it upon ourselves to fix, no matter how long it takes. We must work to better the future, even if we don't live to see it.

PSA AK's

Thinking about an AK, but am working with a strict budget given how expensive AK's have become. I'm looking at PSA again, and was wondering if I should get a blem GF3 or their AK 103K? Both look to be pretty good rifles for the price.

ROTC cadet here shipping for basic camp this summer.

I put down in my medical history that I had exercise induced asthma as a kid, but after going through puberty and getting older, that this condition went away and no longer affects me.

I'm concerned with how/if this history may DQ me from service. Could it be waiverable? How would that work?

Has Glock started shipping the 48 or 43 with their new 15 round mags yet? Been eyeing the 48 for a while, but I'm waiting for them to come with the 15 rounders before pulling the trigger.
