im vaguely entertaining the idea of drawing the cast as anthropomorphic animals but id need to decide who everyone is first, ive got down langdon as some sort of dog, mohan as a deer, whitaker as a particularly wet cat and dana as an owl (because the mental image of her head doing a full 180 to give you a stern look was really funny)

im open to other suggestions for these guys though and very very open to suggestions for other characters, im trying to avoid too many cats and dogs but equally i dont want a bunch of super obscure animals that might be weird to draw lol. any suggestions are appreciated!!

so id like to clarify i LOVE mattias, hes one of my favourite crows but i didnt want to put potential spoilers in the title. this post is about >!how he dies in ck and if people prefer fics that include that detail or ones that ignore it in favour of beautiful mattias content!<

personally i like both depending on the fic (it really is a case by case basis i suppose), and im actually asking bc im planning a fic set during a darker shore but i CANT decide what i want to do with mattias.

on one hand >!its canon accurate and enhanced angst to have him be dead, especially with the direction i want to go in focusing on kaz’s isolation. HOWEVER i also love mattias so much and want him in there!< and the fic will also have a cute found family focus (wesper cats and inej and nina magically showing up)

so idk any thoughts? i really just need help deciding if i should write a good canon level angst fic or pure self indulgence, but im also interested in hearing the general opinion!

sorry to just be asking for fics again but im desperate and i dont know where else to go 😭 i am in DESPERATE need of fics set in the canon of a darker shore, like basically scene expansion of kaz and inej writing to eachother really sweetly but also with their mind-reading code, kaz making himself ill with his new plot and jesper being concerned ect. (“kaz isnt his best these days”) wesper accidently adopting a million cats and naming them all inej!! i mean ideally id like nina and a magically alive mattias in there too but considering i can only find a single 1k fic i would take ANYTHING at this point

honestly if nothing turns up im considering just writing it myself at this point, please anyone let me know if they have fic recs or if theyd like to see a fic like this and what theyd like to see in it

ive fallen back in love with the crows familial bond and with kaz being decidedly bad at sleeping and eating like a normal person it seems like prime family fic opportunity, but i cant find anything!! does anyone happen to have any recs?

i apologise is this is insensitive but i didnt have enough karma for the writing subreddit. im currently writing an oc with an ed (anorexia manifesting mostly in calorie counting, avoiding eating and forced vomiting on bad days) and im trying to design his bag contents. does anyone know of some common things that someone with an ed might keep on them? specifically stuff that might be pushed on edtwt ect. (i really dont want to go in there myself) ive got a bottle of water, gum and some mints

any suggestions are appreciated or other advice for writing a character like this! im trying to get some more day to day habits down rather than all the clinical stuff i can find online
