The nameless island sticks out to me. I remember flying there just to see what would happen, only to be left with more questions than answers. I still think the island is heavily connected to Istaroth as time just works weirdly there

Nine pillars of peace is also a major “address me” moment. The concept of nine vices never brought up anywhere else, the way the sky goes dark in cujie slope. And when you complete the quest, it says that you may have unleashed something bad. Not to mention the geo statue of the seven is also the only one that gives out world quest items…for this quest in specific. It sticks out to me even though it was never revisited, especially since Zhongli is just so mysterious but that’s a whole other rabbit hole.

The gate to Khaenri’ah under Sumeru too. It’s creepy enough to have Khaenri’ahn ruins just out in the open there, but seeing the gate, the “abandon all hope” achievement, the way the music becomes eerily silent, the single mourning flower at the door. Really creepy
