Out of State class of 2030 stats

What were your stats as an OOS student who’s committing to UNC this year and will graduated in 2030? I know it’s insanely hard to get in OOS so feel free to share your stats, it would be really helpful for me to get an idea of what your guys stats were! I’m from SoCal ca and come from a pretty competitive school, and I’m sure a lot of California students will be applying to UNC in the future. I js want to get a deeper understanding on what else I should do to better my chances, thank you!

Nutrition Major

Hi! I know Tulane is getting a nutrition program this year, which is really exciting! I even met with one of the professors, and she said it might even become a 5 -year masters program. I am just curious through if Nutrition at Tulane would be a good major, and am wondering if they have a good science department. I’ve heard a lot that students have to “teach themselves” in a lot of their classes at Tulane. I definitely am interested in Nutrition but would hope the program here is worth it! Let me know, tysm!

Biopsychology Major- Is it related to nutrition?

Hi!! I’m really interested in UCSB as someone who lives in OC and wants to be a nutritionist/PA when I’m older, but Ik UCSB doesnt have a nutrition major sadly. I heard a lot of students interested in nutrition take biopsych, and am wondering if this major is helpful at all and similar to a nutrition major. I’m sure it’s also very science heavy, which I don’t think would be the best fit for me. Any future nutritionists have any opinions on this major and is anyone taking it in hopes to be a nutritionist? If not, what major/s are you taking in order to become a nutritionist in the future?

Thank you!!

Does UNC have a good nutrition program? I am comparing it to Tulanes and am just curious if anyone is majoring in Nutrition at UNC. Would it be considered more rigorous than it would be at Tulane? Let me know, thanks!!

Edit: Is there a path route at UNC for nutrition that is more focused on the public policy side/ economics rather than just the intense science elements? Ofc it will involve science, but it isn’t my strongest subject, though I am very passionate about nutrition.

Is the education at Tulane worth it for the high tuition? Ik it’s a broad question- but does Tulane’s education have a good rep for the price one’s paying in comparison to other expensive universities? Lmk! Thank you
