Homemade recipes for bloating & inflammation

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some homemade recipes that are gentle on the stomach and may help with bloating/inflammation.
I especially love soups, stews, broths, one-pot meals, etc. Mostly things that are comforting, easy to digest, and can be made in a big batch for several meals.
I’d love to hear your favorite recipes!
If you have a recipe that you swear by, please share it)! I’m open to vegetarian, chicken, fish, or meat-based recipes.
Thank you! ❤️

High-protein World Cup snack

Hey everyone!

With the World Cup on, I'm trying to avoid having an entire bag of chips every match and would love some high-protein snack ideas that still feel like game-day food.

I'm looking for snacks that are:
High in protein
Easy to prepare or grab from the store
Good for sharing while watching games

Bonus points if they're budget-friendly or available in Canada!

Thanks!

Burning pain below my glutes

Hi everyone,
I have lumbar hernia (L5S1) and retrolisthesis, and lately I've been experiencing a burning/painful sensation below my glutes, around where the butt meets the upper hamstring. The pain is mostly triggered by sitting, especially in my office chair. Standing up and moving around usually helps, but once the discomfort starts it doesn’t stop until I go to sleep.
I already do physical therapy and stretch regularly, but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference. I'm wondering if this could be related to my retrolisthesis, nerve irritation, sciatica, or something like piriformis syndrome or proximal hamstring tendinopathy.
Has anyone with retrolisthesis experienced similar symptoms? What helped? Did seat cushions, or a different office chair make a difference?
I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences or any advice. Thanks!

Tips on How to thicken my hair

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for tips on how to make my hair look and feel thicker.

I live in Canada, and my hair seems much drier, flatter, and thinner here than when I travel to other countries. When I’m abroad, my hair tends to be more hydrated, wavy, and full of volume.

My hair has been feeling thinner over the past few years, specially after covid. I’ve heard some women say the same…
I don’t like washing my hair every day, but I’ve heard that more frequent washing can be helpful for scalp health. Is that true? Would that affect the thickness?
I’m considering getting a silk or satin bonnet/pillowcase. Has anyone noticed a real difference in hair thickness, breakage, or overall hair health?
Are there any products, supplements, or routines that have genuinely helped you?
I’d love to hear what worked (or didn’t work) for you.

Thank you!

Is it me or DQ7 remake is particularly easy?

I've recently started DQ7 remake and after a few hours in I find it way easier than other dragon quest that I played recently with the same difficulty level.

When I did all the HD2D remakes at least there were some challenges for bosses. But here it feels like you can just put auto battle and you're always gonna win. I think it mainly has to do with the heal spots that you find in dungeons, and the special powers given by the vocations. Plus I find that you gain abilities way faster than other games but I'm not too sure.

Does anyone have the same experience?

Hernia & Spondylolisthesis

Hello!

Im writing to ask for some tips or suggestions.

I was recently diagnosed with L5-S1 hernia and Spondylolisthesis. My Main symptoms are lower back pain and pain that radiates to my glutes, and legs.

I have had PT sessions but the exercises that they gave me seem very basic. Some days I feel they are working and then some other days the pain comes back. I wanted to swim as I have heard that’s good for hernias but bc of my Spondylolisthesis swimming makes the pain worse. I’m trying to stay positive and be patient with the process but mentally this has taken a toll because I’m 26yrs old, I’m stressed about the quality of life I will have.

For anyone that have experienced these symptoms and conditions;
What has helped?

What exercises, stretches, or habits helped built muscle and reduce pain?

Any tips or advice for when you fly? I have the worst time travelling by plane and I have several work trips scheduled this year.

Thank you!
