I have no clue what I'm doing and it's amazing
I do not understand the hate Gleba gets. After playing this game for >500 hours, I finally felt like a beginner again. Have no clue what I'm doing, what works, just slowly experiment and iterate and learn.
I was so stumped in the beginning, went through three radical designs that just got clogged up in one way or another. I know this set up has no expandability, produces ~3 iron ore/sec. But now that it's built and running, I can see how to restructure it and make it a bit more expandable.
Still can't believe I'll be able to make blue circs and LDS here at some point...
Step-by-step, I'll grow this factory and conquer this planet just like all the other ones past.
This planet is awesome. I love how it challenges you.
[KOTOR1] Am I missing something? Or did I softlock myself
Only an hour in, so if I have to make a new character I guess it's not a totally loss, but I think I fucked up.
I'm no stranger to older games but I think I underestimated this one, didn't really read how skills/feats work too much, so I've just been auto-leveling and going off vibes.
But now I'm stuck. Got to the undercity and there's the race-war encounter, and I'm trying to 1v3 these guys, but I simply can't get past them. I've tried grenades, tried blasters, tried my dual-wielding swords, but the dude with the stun baton just stun-locks me while they all whoop my ass.
No idea how I'm supposed to get past this. I explored the entire upper city and I don't believe I missed anything that could help me, besides maybe buying better armor.
I know these older games usually have known tips for early game struggles (looking at you Fallout 2 temple) where if you don't spec into something right away you get screwed, did I do something like that?
