Randomly, but far too often, my PC jumps to 100% Disk Usage, but doesn't show what is eating the usage in Task Manager

It seems to do this entirely randomly, regardless of what programs I'm running. I've tried the various hotfixes; turning off sysmain, disabling msi mode, changed my virtual memory settings, the works.

EDIT: It was as simple as unplugging and plugging the cord to the disk drive...

When people cannot understand semantic change.

The concept of semantic change is when a word changes its meaning by its usage. This has been a thing in literally every recorded language since the dawn of time and yet, some people cannot accept the fact that this happens. The word "awful" for example, it meant "a thing which inspired awe", but that aspect of awe morphed into fear, then disgust. So "awful" now means "disgusting". Or maybe the most popular example, "gay"; shouldn't have to explain much for that one aside from saying it started as a synonym for happy. But the second people start using "larp" to mean something that the current vocabulary does not have an adequate word for is now such a high sin. Yes, the word "poser" exists, but it is at this point antiquated to a prior generation, and does not fully encapsulate the action that they want to describe. If you would rather use poser, then by all means, be the change you want to see. But as for the rest of the culture, they will use larp. And they will be happy using larp.

I am a complete beginner and I want to build a mid range PC. Are the parts listed here reasonable to run most games at 1440p at mid settings?

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor

Memory - 2 x 16 GB DDR4-3000

Storage - 1 TB Solid State Drive

GPU - RX 7600 XT 16GB

OS - Windows 11 (don't wanna bother learning a new OS)

The other parts are listed here on pcpartpicker

Overall this would run me 1.2k USD, so I'd want to be absolutely sure that I am not miscalculating anything
