I use the word Mormon to refer to that church. People get super bent out of shape and repeatedly ask me to call them by their full name. They say it is out of respect. I am not doing that. Why is Mormon such a bad word or is this person just being an entitled ass?

I have been ignoring the emails from Department of Education about moving off SAVE to another plan. My balance is about $4,000. From what I read on their site, I will be placed on the standard repayment plan with a low monthly payment of $50. Does anyone else plan to just ride this out as long as possible?

They really don't know how insane they look, including TBM family members. I live with a member who has a huge food storage haul "just in case". They have had it since 1990 and there has never been a natural disaster to use it. They have 100 gallons of water that have been sitting outside for 8 years, again, never used or changed out. They want to buy more food storage because something might happen. I have to look at it every time I go in the kitchen, and it is irritating to see a reminder of a cult that I hate so much.

The other thing is how they overlook so much of the bad stuff, the rape, murder, SA, lies, and tax evasion. The big one for me is paying tithing to a billion dollar corporation and that temples say all are welcome, but only certain people can use them. They treat Joseph Smith as a hero and have no problem promoting Brigham Young. When pressed on these issues, they say I am the crazy one, and that I should do my research. They feel they are attacked. What do you think the internet is for? Why would I look at one source of information for the facts? I hate this mind control crap and I wish the membership would wake up and realize what they are in. I bet some of them know it is all a scam.

How do you deal with a situation where the person is giving you sad doggy eyes when the tip screen comes up? I feel like this is emotional manipulation and not good practice. Do I need to feel guilty for not tipping, even with their theatrics?

I am a male that was molested multiple times by the same guy. It happened about 35 years ago and I can’t let it go. The events have drastically changed who I am as a person. My dead parents did not believe me and finally when it came out, they let the guy walk because their religion was more important. I often wonder if he is still offending or living a carefree life with no regard to his victim(s). The anger I have that nothing happened is unreal. Would it be wise to try and track him down to get an explanation out of him?

Does anyone have family that buys into the food storage thing from cult HQ? I live with a member that has huge amounts of #10 cans that date back to 1995. The last time they opened them, they were all rotten. The cult has been promoting food storage for at least the last 50 years, in case something happens. But noting ever has happened, and nothing ever will happen. If there were a true emergency, the cult and food banks could provide for people. I am sick of looking at #10 cans throughout the house that collect dust. Also, my family wants to buy more for the future because they heard the fear from church. I hate this.

The church has a true wealth of closer to $500 B! I don't understand why people don't think they have super secret hidden accounts in other countries that only one or two people know about. They are hiding so much from the public it is a social danger.

Is anyone related to any of the top members of the church and does it give you the ick like it does me? I hate that I was even born into this dangerous organization and related to one of those freaks.

There needs to be a concentrated movement of anti-mormonism in society today. This cult has taken it too far and people need to push back at unheard of levels. These cult members need to know they are delusional and part of a dangerous group hurting society. Being anti-mormon is not a bad thing. Stand up and fight back against the gaslighters and brainwashed masses. I am so sick of their shit.
