Moral Dilemma with Detlaff ( No Spoilers please).

I going through the story of blood and wine for the first time and something has been gnawing at me. I have reached the part where Geralt and Anna Henrietta went to the soirée and had a rather intense talk with Detlaff, Orianna and Regis over wine. Detlaff alluded to how a man would do anything to protect the one he loves, even kill innocents. Regis even said to Geralt that he would have done the same for Yennefer if he was in Detlaff’s shoes. Would Geralt actually kill innocents for Yen if she were captured? With the way I’m trying to play Geralt, I don’t think he would do what Detlaff did, at least not like that. I feel the game is trying to encourage me to sympathise with Detlaff. I understand that he’s being blackmailed and loves deeply for Rhena but I don’t think it’s an excuse. Despite the reason, people (questionably innocent knight maybe) have been killed and that can’t be excused so easily. Is this naive? Am I missing something? And as the title states, no spoilers for the rest of the game, please.

Saying goodbye to Shani?

After Shani helps me into the academy to see the professor, she says to come to her house and see her to say goodbye. I’ve gone back and there is no additional dialogue or cutscene. I I already read that she will disappear once I reach the temple. Is this the last I actually see her and there is no real farewell.l?

[PS5]“Repaired” PS5 controller not connections to headphones

As the title suggests, I had my controller repaired by EB games due to audio issues with the audio port for my headphones. The noise was messed up sometimes when connected to my headphones. Head phones were not the problem as I have tested it out on another controller. When I got it back the first time, the noise doesn’t transfer to my headphones at all. The output is still coming from the TV speakers. The controller doesn’t allow me to switch to headphones in the settings, as if it doesn’t tell the difference. I sent it back to EB Games again, they said they fixed the problem, but the issues is still the same! What’s going on? Am I missing something?

Is it wise to allow Ciri to expose herself in the final battle against Eredin?

I feel, tactically speaking, that Ciri should not be in the front lines as it would run the risk of Ciri being captured or triggering a cataclysm. I know Ciri is a powerhouse in a way and the theme apparently is to let Ciri make her own choices but I am not confident in her ability to fight Eredin. And when I try to protect her, Ciri is angry that I am not taking her seriously. Should I be more supportive of her willingness to fight or not?
