Thanks for all the advice on getting these 315 to clear. Turns out all I had to do was lift the car from the rear end to keep the axle centered 🤦🏻♂️ live and you learn!

I have a set of staggered Zr1 replicas from oem wheel. 17x9.5 in the front +56 and 17x11 in the rear + 50 on a 315/35 tire and I can’t even get them on all the way without the “bump stop”?? Hitting the back of the tire.
I’ve checked vacuum hoses and everything seems fine. Gets louder with rpm’s. Doesn’t ever go away.
Seems to be more noticeable on the drivers side.
Finally got the gates 45002 pump in for my 2000 Z28. Went ahead and bought a four seasons housing and a moto rad thermostat.
Is this thermostat supposed to sit in the upon installation or in the housing?
Second question, are you guys using any rtv with your pump gaskets?

I was looking at the GMB unit on rock auto. Would I be able to use the factory 1 piece thermostat with those pumps or would I need to switch to a 2 piece?

First and foremost I am no plumber and that’s why I’m here lol just a noob homeowner trying to figure stuff out on my own.
Issue I’m running into is, anytime I use the garbage disposal with any amount of water in the sink it shoots it down the pipe and blows these seals and makes a huge mess. This is the 3rd seal/gasket? it’s went though. Am I doing this wrong or could there be a clog further down causing pressure?

Sorry if this is an ignorant question, I’m still trying to learn as much as possible about these cars. My car is a 2000 LS1 with the T56. Car has 157k miles and the clutch just feels super high to me? I’m unaware if it’s stock or not. Shifts through all the gears fine but still feels off. Maybe I’m just used to the TR3650 in my Mustang? Is this pretty normal for these cars? It’s my first fbody and first hydraulic clutch experience.
Bone stock LS1, T56 TTop car with only 150k miles.
Got it for dirt cheap due to the red hood and worn interior but we’re taking care of that soon.

I come from the mustang side of the world and got my first Catfish Camaro. Will these wheels look and fit okay? Also will a 265/35 front and a 285/35 for the rear fill it out some or should I go bigger? TIA guys.
