I got my period 7 days post retrieval. Can I use a tampon? Also if my clinic told me to start birth control once my period begins - should I start tonight?

Got my final blast numbers today. 16 retrieved, 12 mature, 11 fertilized, 5 blasts ( 2 of them are day 6, and 3 day 7. Feeling mixed emotions as I read about day 7 blasts and success rates. Any words of encouragement? This is my first IVF cycle so unsure how to feel.

I had my ER last week and 11 fertilized. Waiting on a blast update and just received this and feeling really upset:

We are still waiting for the final number, but as of now, we had 0 finalizations on Day 5, 2 embryos finalized on day 6, and we are waiting on the other 9. We will call you tomorrow and let you know how many total made it to blast!

I’ve read day 6/7 are less viable. Should I feel really discouraged?

Is Advil ok post retrieval? I had my retrieval on Thursday at 11a and I am struggling with a bad sore throat and cold. Tylenol isn’t cutting it so I took Advil. Hoping it’s ok especially since I won’t have a transfer until sometime late June / early July

I had my egg retrieval this morning. I feel pretty good minus being a little nauseous and crampy here and there. Should I expect to feel like crap tomorrow? When did you all start to work out again? Nothing crazy just light weights?

My results from yesterday. Last stims shot was last night! Overall 12 days of stims and I take my trigger shot (Lupron and pregnyl) tonight at 11:30 and retrieval is Thursday at 11:30am.
Nervous and also excited for this to be over. Any words of encouragement based off my results/advice for post trigger/retrieval?

Left side: 19.4, 18.6, 17.5, 17.5, 15.1, 14.2, 13.1

Im instructed to take 1000 units of pregnyl and also Lupron (80 units) when I trigger. For the pregnyl I was given 2 needles and 2 syringes. Can you help me understand why I need two of both the needles and syringes and how to use them?

One more night of stims and I will trigger tomorrow and have retrieval on Thursday. How should I feel about these numbers? I have been on stims since 4/30 so overall it will be 12 days of stims. Can’t wait to take my last shot tonight!

I’ve noticed that I’ve been having heart palpitations.. quick little flutters and my heart races for a few seconds and stops. it’s been happening pretty frequently thinking it’s from the gonal F. Anyone else experience this while on stims?

Day 8 of stims results. Estradiol is at 1144. Will be on stims through the weekend and increasing Cetrotide to twice daily tomorrow. Are these good numbers?

I had my ultrasound and bloodwork today. I am on day 7 of stims (took 6 shots of gonal F so far). I have 1 follicle on my right ovary measuring 11.2, and 5 on my left measuring 11.3, 11.2, 11.1, 10.9 and 10.1. Estradiol was around ~300 and on Monday it was at 75.

I am starting cetrotide today and will begin taking it every morning starting tomorrow along with my low dose HcG and continue my gonal F (300) at night and I go back on Friday for another monitoring appointment.

Are these good numbers? I had 36 follicles at baseline so feeling like this is slow growth?
